Gutted cars with tiny batteries FTW. I have a Deka ETX-14, weighs 8 lbs. versus the 50 lb. factory battery.

Looks nice, would you consider painting the interior with a basecoat/clearcoat job?
I had a rough experience with a dry cell batt. that was used to clear the IC piping in my S13 but I hope that one works out for you. :goodjob:

Nah I don't think so. I weighed my 93 GS at the track, and it tipped the scale almost 2600 pounds.. Darn leather, power everything options
But I like where you kept the battery at. :goodjob: if I did that Im not sure if i would pass tech without a battery hold down? :???:

Yea I'm pretty sure your car is considerably lighter, since you gutted it and all. The only thing i did was take out the spare tire.
stubbyda91
01-17-2009, 12:56 PM
yeah i did light weight battery, ac and ps removal, abs removal, spare tire removal, interior removal, all of that was not in the idea of making the car lighter lol.....its just thats the suff i wasnt/didnt need
i also got a cf hood needing hatch
and light weight momo seats needing instal
