Lol, either she's an amazon woman or that bike is tiny (note: I've never heard of "bobber bikes" before, so maybe they are supposed to be small).

i think the term bobbers come from the bobbing the fenders. or fishermen ride them

A bobber bike back in the 50's and around that era was a bike just put together with scrap parts. It wasnt made to be pretty and it only had the bare escentials of what it took to operate the bike. Brake and head light, shifter, rear brakes, some people add front brakes for safety. Usually a springer front end (or really whatever you could get) and no rear suspension of any kind.
I really like the modern "bobbers" like this one

You cannot go wrong with a Harley Davidson. Honestly, they may not have the most power or the best reliability but NOTHING sounds like one as far as OEM engines go. Start getting into aftermarket v twins like S&S its a different story.
The bike the girl is on has like 125cc engine or something.
Want to be a real badass, have a jockey shifter. Foot clutch, changing gear with your hand belowthe hip is insane. If you knly have rear brakes then you have to ride the clutch on hills, cant leave both feet up lol.

yea the bike with the gurl has either a 110cc or 125cc engine. It' a kit bike and they start off at $1,500. Yup $1,500. Info can be found at http://www.oldschoolhardknock.com/Home_Page.php
Also the term "bobber" refers to that style of chopper. Usually the have ape hangers, that peanut style gas tank and look smaller than those typical strech out choppers that OCC builds. Very cool style I think.
