B Series Tranny questions.

As it stand, my EF is needing a lot of body work, so i'm going to put my motor and trans in my g/f's EJ.

I have a hydro tranny, but it needs 3rd gear in it.

The guy i'm getting the trans from, is putting his B 16 5th in it, and taking the LS 5th.

The trans is an LS. So is my Cable trans

My question, is can I pull all the gears, and gear racks in the hydro cases. Will it fit, will it work, etc.

So what are you trying to do put cable gears in hydro?

you cant swap gears from cable to hydro spline count is different on the shaft

I was going to swap gear racks, bearings, everything. the hydro i have, 3rd gear took a shit.
