Whats everyones race schedule?

Its been a long and cold off season. Builds were started, cars were rebuilt, some teams and car have gone, and new teams have emerged. But now its time for the 09 season. Time to do last minute checks, fire the motor, load the trailers and head to the track.

For many, like me, this season will be full.

For SCCA (in the BMW), my schedule is looking like this...

-February 21-22 Six Hour Endurance Race/ Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)
-March 14-15 ECR/ Virginia International Raceway (Alton, VA)
-March 21-22 Pro-IT Race/ Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)
-May 2-3 ECR/ Daytona International Raceway (Daytona, FL)
-May 30-31 Pro-IT Race & ECR/ Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)
-June 27-28 ECR/ Nashville Superspeedway (Nashville, TN)
-July 18-19 Pro-IT Race/ Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)
-September 4-6 Pro-IT Race/ Barber Motorsports Park (Birmingham, AL)
-October 24-25 ECR/ Virginia International Raceway (Alton, VA)
-October 30-31 13 Hour Endurance Race/ Virginia International Raceway (Alton, VA) TENTATIVE
-November 6-8 ARRC Pro-IT Race & ECR/ Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)

As for instructing, I will be instructing all SE PDX events, as well as the events a host.

So whats everyone's race schedule looking like for 09?

I will only be racing for fun again. I am glad actually. It is so stressful doing it like we used to. Sponsors are a PITA! I think I am going to do some more Time Attack when I get my Vette.

this doesnt include all the test days, and Porsche Club events, trackdays, SCCA regionals, Nationals, June Sprints and Runoffs. A few NASA events and maybe some Grand Am races if I can squeeze a few in. No World Challenge or open-wheel this year. Should be a busy year.

I enjoyed it, I would like to go back and run it again in a truly competitive car. But it would take a 20K dollar investment to go try for a top 3 spot and there is basically zero return on the investment.

Naw I am running track days (PDX, Chin, NASA), some TT, and some Skippy stuff.

Also whatever I can get my hands on (and wallet) hopefully a couple of enduros SCCA or NASA, if the price is right. So if anyone runs enduros in here and needs a driver.... :goodjob: lol

I'm still waiting for the Solo schedule to be put up, and unfortianately, that will be all I can afford this year (unless something miraculous happens, like a good job, LOL). I may try to make it to a PDX, but again, money, it sucks.

Yeah, the atlanta region seems to be taking there time this year. Our first event last year was on the feb. 7th? or something. Hopefully the schedule will be out by then.
