Just a hint: never bash your current employer publicly :) It doesn't look good to prospective employers.

^^^ Also alignment, sales, and General service does the tires-oil-lubes-batteries. NTB started paying there techs really low when they got bought out years ago. They used to pay pretty good, techs working 40hours could pull in over 700$ every 2 weeks. That was good for GS techs, the pay isnt near that now lol. G/L w/ your find. Some advice for you, go to college for automotive (if you want to advance in your career in that) and get a degree in either a particular manufacturer, or if you like performance go to UTI. A degree will get you higher pay and a better position.

Are you serious? Thats $350/week.. not even $10/hr. Most quick lubes pay close to that.

No dude are you serious lol. Go around right now to most any franchise shop asking about GS positions. You will get offered 7-8 $ an hour, w/ taxes taking out doing 40 hours a week thats around 250-270, that's 100$ a week less. Im talking about GS's could take home 350-400 on there check-cashed b4 economy was crapped out. Master techs and what not can make 20$ an hour. Which one would you rather do?

damn if i were a master tech and was being offered that much i would tell someone to go fuck themselves. where i work our master tech's are making $31.50 an hour.

but i guess some people wouldn't have a choice, wit the economy the way it is.

Because you work at a domestic shop. Import shops don't pay near that much, but are typically more liberal with labor hours for jobs.
