its a 1971 VW Super Beetle also kind of rare cause these were imported from germany and was the first and last one with the Flat windshield on it ;)

I picked it up sunday before x-mas for $800 bux and the little bug is in really good shape no really bad rust. just some slight rust under the battery and since that is located under the back seat i will take care of that quickly . frame is strong....

other than that the engine runs and does not leak oil  thats rare lol and also tranny shifts really nice . all i need is the interior Original seats put on the headlights and put shocks on the back and its set to be on the streets . got its Vintage GA plate already :D

well here are some pics of my 65hp super car lol

1 week later after i got it and sanded down the light rust spots and well had to rattle can it black until i have some cash to paint it a really nice shade of black. . looks decent now . still waiting on the shocks and drivers side fender to have it complete. its in proggress found a turbo for it might get it dont know yet .... :ninja:

better pics when project moves along and ill be actually take it somewhere to shoot pics

well from what ive searched it was a handfull running into half of 72 then the windows looked similar but were slightly curver at the edges for more aerodynamics . could be slightly wrong im new into the bug right now lol

I have always loved beetles, I saw a sweet one this past week that was flat black too up in canton. It had some crazy negative camber in the rear.

Awesome car for sure! My brother and dad have had beetles (mostly rail buggys) for a long time so I've always loved them.

Best pic right here:

Thanks for the good feedback guys. I cant dump it , its already low as is every turn i take the wheels rub the fenders and i have pulled them out a little , but i guess if I ain't rubbin I ain't Dubbin. The paint is not that shiny or flat its just right for the time, i know i will have many changes of paint as time goes, and the red wheels are a MUST lol but the 8 spoke ones it had when i got it ,I just refurbished them so they will be on today and a sneak peak of the wheel getting adapted to it, The thing i like about this car is that when people see it , it tends to bring a smile to them :) guess due to that it smiles also lol

I had a 68 that same blue color with white interior.

It was a pain to keep clean. Bought it for 400 dumped a bunch of money into.

I sure do miss it.

Great bug dude, seriously!! Keep her lookin stock with some rims!!!!:goodjob:
