hey just wondering if anyone here going to the opening day at sds..runs around 14.0 or high 13s...just seeing if any of us would have a close race or if i was showing out with a bunch of guys running 12s..lol

ok...i didnt wanna be one of those cars that was hitting shitty all day running low 14s when everyone else is running faster than that...plus i drive better and it gives me more motivation when its a close race going down the track..lol

last time i went i went 13.9s but ive changed a few things since then and should be a little quicker. But like everyone else said, there will be a wide range of power and times out there.

I ran a 13.5 with slicks and I might be out there, so me and you would be a good race.

yeah, that would be a good race...these cars have been seen hitting 13.6 stock, few videos of them doing it...so im hoping i can get as close to that as possible, it would be pretty cool...it has a launch control feature that i cant wait to try out...it acts like a 2 step, it cuts it at 5100 rpms and all you have to do is dump the clutch and it limits wheel spin..but idk how well that works yet...the car also has a "no lift shift" thing in it, so i never have to let the boost go away, trying to get a few more miles on the car b4 i try either of them, lol...havnt taken it over 4000 yet..lol

If thats what your Mustang runs then it would be a really good race with my Mach 1. When my car is hot lapping it usually goes 13.7-13.8 fairly consistent but if I let it cool down for an hour or two(MCE day:rolleyes: ) it will do 13.5-13.6.

last time i had it dyno'd was with the 3.31's and it was heat soaked as F***. we were dynotuning it. but it made 295/285. my tuner said im right at if not a little above 300rwhp. its a fun car, nothing amazing but itll hurt the new gt's feelings. lol

Untuned but made 308 in 90+ degree weather. He only races at the drag strip though.

This is my first 6 spd car.. I've only launched his mustang twice and it wasn't bad.

We'll just have to see how the season goes. I'm not putting my C5Z wheels and ET streets on till i get good at launching.

Some folks are meeting at Summit in McDonough if you wanted to follow them. Summit is easy to find as you can see it from I-75.

They are now meeting at Vendetta's. Its a restaraunt on the same exit as Summit Racing. Just the other side of the highway.

Go south on 75 then take exit 216. You will take a right and about a 1/4 mile down the road is Vendetta's on the right.
