type-r camshaft help

so I bought some 97 spec type-r cams and the tip of the intake cam was slightly chipped off where the dizzy goes. thwy said that it doesn't make a difference, it will still perform normally. but i'm not too sure.

those don't look like 96-97 spec, they actually look like b16 cams.
