disconnect battery
remove cables from starter bracket
disconnect the battery cable from the starter and stinger wire
remove start bracket
remove exhaust y pipe
remove starter bolts
rotate starter 180 degrees
pull from between upper arm and axle

on some model axle may have to be removed

thats a short version of what shopkey says. ive never had to do it so i cant give u any pointers.
