Car club question!

okay a few of us are going down Friday...but the majority of our club will be going down saturday....my question is....since we are getting there a day early....can we put up like traffic cones/caution tape and sectioning off an area, for the rest of the members...so we can park together? is that allowed? if not what is the procedure?
