New to the site...hello all.
'93 Prelude VTEC
Throttle pedal keeps "sticking" in the up position. I have to give a little extra pressure to break the pedal loose. Anybody else ever have that issue?

a lot of aftermarket tb do that. there is a screw stop that keeps the throttle plate from over-closing and getting the throttle-plate stuck.

the problem with the edelbrock was with the butterfly itself. there was 2 screws that hold it on and they loosen up. the fix is to just loosen them both open the tb and let it slam shut then tighten them. when it slams it re-centers the butterfly....i had to to do this about 3 times on my edelbrock throttle body

Your throttle is closing 100%. At idle it shouldnt close 100%, it should be like 1.5% throttle. Check your stop screw and adjust it.

i have this problem one time and it one time just redline the shit out of my motor! and i'm not even stepping on the gas pedal. I couldn't do anything except shut it down. and checked my TB cable and found out it was loose and got off track from the tb
