Ok, Ive got a downloaded movie (Twilight) in both mov. and avi. formats. Neither Windows Media Player or Quick Time will play them. What do I need to be able to play this?

Download VLC Media Player and see if that works. (it's free :goodjob: )

VLC is the best for what you want
vlc player will play any video format ever made...
