Tamrac Expedition 8x. I had the Lowepro Fastpack 350. It held my 17" WS laptop and when I had a single body with 4 lenses it worked GREAT. Once I added a 2nd body and the accessories that go with it the bag filled up quickly. I looked around online, tried to find photos and pictures and reviews. Landed on this bag and asked my family for it for my BDay(Dec 23rd).

It is a BIG bag and I love it. The straps have lots of padding, the waist strap has lots of padding and the back itself has lots of padding. Once you add a tripod and a laptop it does get pretty heavy but it is nothing that a normal male adult should have a problem with. Put all the extra straps and cinch them down and you could go hiking! The zippers themselves are either covered by water proof material(and you can cinch down to make them more protective) or are water proof themselves. A very nice feature.

The storage space is exceptional. The padding is nice and you could really custom do the interior and fit all kinds of things. The outside areas hold memory cards and AA batteries perfectly(throw away plastic baggies). Inside the outside space you can keep lens cleaning supplies, charges, cables and remotes. The front mounted tripod holder could easily hold an extremely heavy tripod with no problem. The inside 2 legs go into the bottom pouch and then you have 3 straps that are adjustable to hold it on. In case you are shooting in the rain and you have your tripod mounted(zippers open obviously) there is a drain in the pouch which is a nice touch.

Quality seems exceptional to my eye and just pulling and yanking on things. No random strips or straps. Very adjustable and very durable. It appears to my eye to be a perfect overhead bin bag for those airline travelers(which I do quite frequently).

All and all I am extremely happy. The Lowepro Fastpack 350 is great for a single body and multiple lens. It is easier to shoot out of the bag but most of the time my camera is around my neck or I am shooting a car and everything is out of my bag anyways!

I want to preface the photos that I did not back it tightly. I wanted to try and make everything go into the dividers and even out the weight. I could easily squeeze another body or 3-4 more lenses depending on if they were telephoto or standard zooms.

nice. i bought this burton bag not too long ago. the only reason that i went burton over tamrac or lowepro was the simple fact that all the camera gear is against my back instead of out in the open.

but i looked at these. lots of room.

I just bought the Lowepro 350 FastPack and I love it. Great for traveling when I dont want to take extra bodies ( although I could) and it fits my Sony a700 w/Vertical Grip perfectly.

Lots of rom in the top for more stuff or a jacket and lots of padding & straps to make it easy to carry.

Fits my 80-200 f2.8 APO and my large shoe flash-gun with diffuser as well as my Minolta 11-18mm Wideangle. I could fit more into it but only wanted the basics for my recent trip to Indiana.
