Christmas is the birth of Christ.

Yea, screw christmas. Jesus wasn't even born on christmas. I don't understand how christians can align the fake birthday of their savior or whatever on a pagan holiday.

Our "Christmas" is a vastly evolved version of an originally pagan day of celebration, It celebrates the beginning of the winter solstice. Simple as that. We've ourselves added in the fat man and the reindeer and the bit about a savior's birth...

I had someone try to buy GTA4 with food stamps today. Fucking despicable pieces of shit. Christmas is just another time when people like to show how much money they have.

By the way, the calender date of December 25th was celebrated well before the birth of christ.

Correct

In 350 AD, Pope Julius I declared that Christ’s birth would be celebrated on December 25. There is little doubt that he was trying to make it as painless as possible for pagan Romans (who remained a majority at that time) to convert to Christianity. The new religion went down a bit easier, knowing that their feasts would not be taken away from them.
