Does or has your car surge a lot ????
Surge-- Throttle keeps gassing itself without your assistance.
Mine is terrible for this and I dont believe the weather affects this problem at all....
Just Curious...
Good feedback would be nice, so assholes stay out of this thread :goodjob:

Same repair, three times, within one year. It should be under the lemon law.
Does this happen while drive? Is the boost raising also? Have you upgraded the turbo and not the wastegate? Basically, are you getting boost creep?

not really shitty, anytime air flow is changed it generally does that. the NA 4v motors go the same shit with TB large than the stock Twin 55mm! people have figured out for that just put a restrictor plate between the TB and IAC valve!

I would have to do some testing before I just went and replaced something. Then again, I'm smart. It could be the TPS sticking but I wouldn't go that route yet. Idle air control seems more likely, Iceman. If you want, give me a call.

That problem popped up on my car last year. I replaced both sensors mentioned, checked the TPS wiring and pulled off and cleaned my throttle body but the problem didn't go away. For some reason, my car went back to normal a few weeks later. :???: Now when I disconnect my battery, every once in a while the problem pops up for the next couple of start-ups then it goes away again. I can live with that so I have left my issue alone.
