sup it's Z U L8R (Dave) from Lethal Injection.
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc313/Z_U_L8R/ZUL8RCOMMERCE11.jpgIt won't let me log out of Jballa's account.
This is my little brother's RX7 . He bought it because he's a rotary guy but this particular car had a bunch of extra goodies. Only bad side was the motor in it had low compression, WHAT A SHOCKER!
He's been in the Navy for 2 years as a Fire Controlman and Spytech with the Aegis Sattelite system and he's already been promoted to an E-5 pay grade because of his hard work and dedication.
But as far as cars go....... he's always been a bloody wankel. :lmfao:
quick incite:
FD3S, also known as the sexiest import chassis ever, aka 1992-2002 (in US 93-95) Mazda RX7 was Mazda's "street legal race car." Mazda went as far as to use cast-aluminum control arms and drilling holes into the pedals to save 4 ounces of weight to make this car as light as possible.
The early 90's were the battle of the imports with nissan's twin turbo 300zx, and toyota's twin turbo supra, therefore Mazda's response with producing the 13b-REW twin turbo 1.3 liter wankel power plant.
During this time Mazda also created a 13b-RE motor that they put into their Cosmo which also came with their 20b 3 rotor of PWNAGE!!@#!@#!
My brother purchased this White 1994 FD Touring Edition with a couple goodies like some Reeeiiiims, Tein Coil Over's all the way around /w other adjustable suspension pieces , a Turbonetics 62-1 turbo, Greddy Profec-b Spec 2 EBC, Apexi Power FC, 3" Racing beat exhaust, TurboSmart 45mm External Wastegate, Aeromotive FPR /w bigger secondaries and a custom Fuel Rail, GReddy FMIC, Fluidyne Aluminum Radiator, 99 front bumper, 99 rear tail lights, a gay ass HKS SSQV BOV, and some ricey pillar guages and a couple other at least it's better than stock goodies.
Although it's not the rare yellow or anything like that you don't see many white FD rx7's.
The 13b-REW is what came in US third gen RX7's. The 13b-RE is the 2 rotor motor that came in the Cosmo, but the Cosmo is more known for it's 3 rotor 20b motor.
There are a bunch of differences between the 13b-RE and 13b-REW (which you'll see some pics of later), but to keep it simple, as far as performance goes, the RE motor has bigger Intake ports, and comes with bigger turbo's stock than the REW motor, therefore it makes a little more power. Pound for pound, and mod vs mod it'd make more power because of the bigger intake ports allowing the engine to breath better.
The 13b-RE's are a ton easier to put in a second gen rx7 (FC). They're pretty much bolt in because of the motor mounts etc. But they're definately a chore to put into a third gen, which is why not many people do it, and also why i wanted the challenge.
Some of the stuff needed to be fabbed/modified to make this work so here's some pics of the differences in the 2 motors and the stuff that needed modification.
here's the measurement in MM of the bigger ports on the 13B-REW (don't write the measurement in stone but it's pretty close)

here's the measurement of the smaller REW ports

here's the 13b-RE sitting in the 1994 FD engine bay. i know u like that football gasket i made

here's the crossmember modification so the 13b-RE's oil pan didn't hit the subframe

here's one of the motor mounts you'll need to put a 13b-RE into your FD. pay no attention to the sexy 280z it's resting upon

and another, nice tail lights, and on the left is my new tool box , had to label all the drawers with stickers so when someone needs something i can tell them which drawer it's in. (sometimes it sux having the good tools, everyone except you is always using em >_<)

and after. btw they have a 62mm inducer and 88mm exducer for the compressor wheel (in case u wondered, i measured it while i had it off). In retrospect a GT35R has a 61mm inducer to give you and idea of the size, too small for a rotary in my opinion.
