the vibration could be from the size difference in the two axles. a buddy of mine had this EXACT same problem on his 96 coupe. he replaced the driver's side (twice) with a brand new axle from autozone, but the car began vibrating. we compared it to the stock axle, and the autozone one is much thicker. when he put the old one back in, the vibration stopped. he ended up just putting a new one on both sides (both from autozone) and it solved the problem. compare the new axle to the old one (if u still have it) and see if there's a noticeable size difference in the shaft.

sounds like wheel bearings, and or 2 different axles that you have! and iono if your axles are newnew or reman, but mostly all re manufactured axles, come as is. You cant really tell if they in good condition or not. The appearance of the axles may look good, but it's teh bearings inside of the axles it self! i've went through plenty of reman axles and decided to just get brand new ones!! ...

It's the half shaft. Mine did the same thing. You have to match the half shaft with the axles you have or it will vibrate. I guess I had SiR axles to begin with and then they both broke so I got DA axles still with the SiR half shaft. Every time I turned to the right it would vibrate like a bitch. Finally found a DA half shaft put it in and have been riding since.

You should stay out of GT posts :) You went against everybody in this thread, and in the sunfire thread, you were oh so quick to say the same thing everybody else did.

You clearly don't know, well anything about mechanical issues, you might be a "parts changer" but by no means are you a mechanic. It could be a half shaft problem as well.

I had this same problem a while back when putting new axles in my car. I don't recall how it went exactly because the final work aspect was drawn out in a drunken haze in the drag strip parking lot.

I do know, it was infact an axle problem.

Well I guess you will have to find a 99-00 Si halfshaft
