What does EJ-EG Squad means to you?

This thread is not a bashing, merely an eye-opener to see where everyone stands on the subject. So just out of curiosity, "What does the EJ-EG Squad means to you?" When I first joined the squad, we had like 4 or 5 Honda Meets down at the V, those were truly good times and after the meet we would always ride out to the IHOP in Buckhead to eat, and again good times. We sat, ate, and communicated, no matter who you were and enjoyed ourselves. Throughout my timespan I've only had 1 conflict within the squad, and hopefully it's been resolved. I asked this question before, What do you guys stand for? What do you do?

Because on one hand it looks like the squad is mostly an up north thing, due to the high volume of northern people who are in it and how mostly everything is more convenient for you guys since you all are close to each other. I've been on here long enough to see them come and go, or move on to do something on their own :goodjob: I look around and see that everyone else is having fun, but when I come in here, where's the fun? did someone steal it or something lol. There's nothing going on. So I already know that at least 2 people will read this and take it the wrong way, but just read and understand what I'm trying to say, before drawing your conclusion without fully comprehending. It was fun, but not anymore. The north guys hang with the north guys and the south guys [Lovejoy, Griffin, and Macon] hang out with the south guys.

Like stated in the Private Section, yea I'm not a member, I resigned a while back close to the beginning of the year or so. I just like to come and say hello and see how everyone's doing. Sure I get the cold shoulder when none of the OG's would ever respond to what I asked or said, but it didn't bother me, because I know that they can't help but be who they are and me being who I am :ninja: . So the jist of what I'm trying to say is come on guys get something going before more people leave and you're only left with yourselves. :ninja:

Yea I spoke to Elmer, I had prior engagements, I couldn't just bail out on something that was planned for weeks for a spur of the moment get together.

Well, I must say some stuff in here.

When I first joined the squad, I felt part of another family. During the past couple of weeks I haven't felt the same. I know I haven't been on here as much as I use to be due to the military but the feeling shouldn't change. Sometimes I will post in here and not get any kind of response. Same goes for Peter and Tony (not all the time, but most of the time.) It really shouldn't be that way at all. No matter who is posting. Be it a STFU or a FTMFW, anything is better than nothing.

well i heard u live around the gwinnett area. u should try to come out to some of the riverside sonic meets, even jose shows up.

anyways, i've been with the squad for a short amount of time and since ive been here ive only met a handful of ya'll. but its never gotten into a personal level and i dont think it should be like that at all. we are pretty much a family and in reality we are all a bunch of strangers to each other. i've met (sorry if i dont mention u) Jose, og Jr, brian, roach, kevin, tony, peter, mike, santana, jr, but if i was ever to call somebody to hang out out of that list it probably be only jose and jr. i think a squad should be together and everybody should know each other.

i've seen jose try to set up meets like crazy. we had 2 bowling nights and only a handfull appeared. he had a get together last nite and many of us didnt reply, its understandable since it was short notice though. but having a car club takes effort and commitment. im sorry but if we were to compare ourselfs to the goon squad i dont think we should even be called a squad.

jose its the only one i see thats trying to set up meets. we are all part of the squad and we should make it seem that way. yeah we are really spread out, but if we all make the effort to schedule around this meets, no matter how far u have to drive, i think would do this squad some good.

varsity meets, everybody and their mother know when and where they are, let us be seeen, lets all try to make it there early so we can park together an take pictures, hang out, and get to know each other.

honestly, we need 3 cups of effort and 4 tablespoons of commitment. lol

i joined the squad because before i had a car of my own i would lurk around IA posting here and there hardly, not really fitting in...blah blah just looking and taking things in, one day what do you know i got a civic and a couple weeks later i wanted to have a lil family type deal of just people that i could be cool with and can chill whenever, work on the cars, just people that will be there, keep me out of trouble =].. i browsed around found this squad read the rules and figured y not...they seem down to earth and not dickheads and thats when i posted pics of my car...and blah blah attempted to join.

but i see where the meets did get onesided =[

CHill would agree with me on this one, I've posted it several times in the Check-In section and got no play at all like CHill mentioned, he even asked me about it and I was like it's ok no big deal. like i said effort and commitment and maybe some more communication. everybody needs to hang out as much ass possible. i can honestly say that i've never been to south georgia unless im traveling to pcb (ftw) or somewhere else in florida. and i really dont mind driving long to get to places and im pretty sure there's many meets in south georgia. peter was talking about mcdonough(sp?) the other night and stuff. im down for anything but itll be hard in the next 6 months since i cant drive but ill try.

Anytime Jose plans a meet I am most likely there unless I don't have a babysitter for my son or like this past weekend, I have been sick since last Tuesday and still am today and I cut my finger and have a stich in it so it is bothering me and I just wanted to rest since my son went to his gmas that night. But me and Jose and a few others hang out sometimes even when it is not a planned meet. I would love for us to have a squad meet because I haven't seen some people since the bbq and the v meets and some I haven't met at all.

Ok.... so you guys want to start acting like a family huh....... let's see how long this last and I pray that you guys prove me wrong on this. Because I've noticed on a few occasions that a no whore'n up a thread was asked and yet some people continued with that random shit.


Just so that if none of you guys really know me like that, I'm down to hang out and ride if it's worth it, but if it's a dummy mission where I'm just standing around and there's nothing going on then I'm out. And no one like's their time to be wasted.

It's like this, if you possibly have any question about your Honda, you can ask me because 9 times out of 10 I would know what the problem is, I do my own work, build my own motors, install rear brake conversion [just ask Petey :D ] if it's a Honda I can fix it. I'm known for going well out of my boundaries for those who I consider family and friends. Peter ran into a problem with his car when he left the McDonough Meet one night and he gave me a call, asked if I could drive down to Macon to help him out, and without hesitation I said yea, because I know that if Peter could he would do the same for me, even though it's like a Million hour drive full of fawk'n cops that I can't even hear my VTEK pop off :lmfao: :lmfao:

think all we are really lacking is communication. in order for that to happen we all have to put fourth effort like carlos said. if someone calls me up i would definetly want to go help them if i can, but main ppl i know in the group are tiff, elmer, jose, and carlos, if they call me up id probably drop what im doing and go help them unless work is in the way you know.. i want to be that way with everyone and want everyone to be that way with me.

if you see someone post up about something in a thread in our area or wherever dont just read it and be on your way, let your opinion be heard even if you cant make it to a meet, drop a post and let us know, maybe theres a chance we might be able to adjust accordingly!

but yea besides communication, there isn't a lot of people that come out, and that's from what I've seen, like the last time we went bowling together, that was fun, just wish there was more people so all the jokes can be thrown out there and when I say jokes I mean TASTEFUL jokes, not just some stupid crap that you could of kept to yourself. Because I love to talk trash, but only to someone who I know can take it, and by all means they know that I'm only joking if they want me to stop just say so. I'm known to crack a smile or atleast make everyone laugh because I love to laugh, I love to be happy and not looking all mean and cranky. Bet this up Jose you remember like at one of the V meet, when we were deep as hell that we all tried to meet up somewhere before heading to the V to park, that needs to start it off right there. For the New Year's V Meet and to start the year off good, everyone if possible should come out for that. South Side guys are gonna meet up, and this is directed to the SS guys if you're late I'm leaving you... I'm serious. Then the North Side guys meet somewhere and then we all should meet at the Publix on Piedmont at a set time and roll down together, park together and chill as a real crew. What do you guys think about that? :thinking:

sorry for not posting but here lately i've been workin 70 hour weeks trying to run my store, but i try to stop in and say hey when i can. and give progress on both projects. also i have alittle more free time now that i have trained up some people to run shifts for me. we need to get a meet together that the whole squad will show up to. i will bring some fellow eg-ej people from up here. but i was thinking we could get one set-up for Tuesday February 10th which is my 23rd B-day. its on a tuesday! i think we should do something anyways! gather up the remaining members and get a GOOD group picture. let me know what you guys think.
