dont know if this is the right place to ask this how much could i get for a d15b2 with a extra mani for obd1 and dizzy(obd1 non vtec) and pm6 ecu i redid the head machine it when it blew a head gasket and the piston rings need to be done easy fox thats all that is wrong with it have receipts in my hatch for it extra gaskets have to find them please pm with answers and i dont want to be ripped off please tring to help out my parents with money

With needing to have Piston rings replace,which has to be Honed,Hot tanked,and all new bearings and the Head needs to be shaved again an all new gaskets!

I would say a fair an honest Value is 50-100 bucks tops

I can get Z6 running for 150


So a NON Vtec needing rebuilt isnt going to bring you top dollar!

sorry man. I've been up for to long. Thanks for calling me a 2 and 5 year old real nice. The head doesn't need to shaved everytime it comes off. All you have to do is get something flat and sand the block and head evenly to made a good seal. right or wrong

To be honest if I was to buy this which I am not. I would go threw it from head to toe before installing this in my car knowing something was wrong from the Get Go.I would send the head off to have it Decked an Checked an cleaned, same for the block I would get it MagnaFluxed and X rayed and cleaned an honed. Then I would have the Rods checked and crank.Once that is all done I would do all new gaskets by all this time an money I would be better off buying a Used Z6/ZC running without any issues for 150 bucks...


Your motor will never come close getting a few hundred dollars like the EFALLMOTOR guy said, even with your problems you want see more then 100 bucks

Anyway The timing will NOT make it burn oil I dont care who you think your dad is, If the timing was so far off it wouldnt even run an idle right, being a tooth off isnt going to make it burn oil ...I am not NEW to this by all means

If the timing is off a little or set the wrong way, it can draw oil through the piston rings. It is worth taking the chance by fixing the timing, rather than taking the WHOLE engine apart. Like I said I am trying to get some money to help out my parents.

There is no such thing as a heater core for a 63 beetle. It ran off the exhaust manifold. They do not have water so they do not have a heater core. Until the jettas came out they put heater cores on them since the had water in them.

It only smokes at 2000 RPM and up. It does not smoke when it idles. The valves do not open up until high RPMs; so as the pistons move down it pulls a vaccum through the cylinders which pulls oil through the rings.

The reason its smoking when your RPMS are high is because its pushing more compression in the cylinders ...There for with weak,bad rings it causes it to smoke!


And yes your guy you know from Honda & Acura is a Dumbass too...BTW tell him to ge back to changing oil before I fire him!
