Well, besides the rain it wasn't bad. No one's car broke, no one got hurt, no one got a ticket, and no one wrecked! The rain/bald tires for me did not stop us from tearing up the mountainside though. It hard to take pictures while doubling the speed limit in the rain on bald tires around a turn around a steep cliff and shoot through a windshield wiper....

yeah you are crazy but somehow didnt have any problems when you were driving in the rain on bald tires in the mountains, while taking pictures....

Yeah it was definitely fun, although it was raining it wasn't as bad as I thought. Definitely want to go up there again & must be dry forsure!

i think he is talking about blurring the numbers on the tag, so someone cant get your information.... people are worried about getting their car stolen

I know what he means, but I don't get it. Your tag number is exposed everyday? I guess it can give you a bit of piece of mind, but if someone wants to steal your car and needs your tag number, that will get it.

Your average driver around you in an everyday situation isn't worried about your tag whereas you'd have a much greater chance at someone looking at it, or for it, on a message board with like-minded people. Later, QD.

Yes i did. But I was wasn't referring to those. I was referring to the comments about everyday driving. Meets and car shows are kind of like forums and pics. Like-minded people attend these meets and shows.

If someone doesn't want a pic of their tag taken (and if the photographer isn't considerate enough to blur it out in processing), they should either remove it or cover it when they get there (to the event). I know you shouldn't have to, but that's the way society is these days. And I agree that it sucks. The comparison between running into someone interested (with bad intentions) in your car at a meet as opposed to driving down the street is practically non-existent. You can't always count on photographers to do the right thing, so you need to take your own precautions.
