I just bought a used VIS CF hood for my teg.....it's faded. I am gettin my car repainted so just thinkin should i get it hood painted with car or the clear cloat the hood?? I am not gettin my car painted 2 toned like i was planing too.

i haven't taken pix of the hood....it's at the shop. Just picture a CF hood with 50% fade..surface fade nothin big the will come out with a good buff. Just want 2 know wat will look good all car all red or CF hood showin. Red X's.......change ur net settings.

i think theres enough black on the car that it would look fine as is. but if your really goin for the blended look, here's a couple of ideas:

no fade!!! if anything just do a red tinted clear coat or suck it in and paint it solid red....don't be afraid to hide carbon fiber.

they are photochoped on the car coz i don't have a pic of them on the car.....gettin the idea how the whole thing would look

i took the fade off.....buffed it out
