im just sayin you shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
if your car aint perfect, dont down this guys car, especially if he has more done to it then this seemingly stock 3rd gen eclipse.

I'm not raggin on him or anything but as I was saying I personally have never seen any chevrolet considered JDM. It's a good lookin Cavi but to call it JDM just seems wierd to me.

America is not japan correct.....i mean come on.... in same respect the mexican assembled beetle and jetta would not be considered mexican automobiles..... they are german cars, just as the cavalier is an american car.. you could rebadge it as a honda(god forbid) and it still would be american...hands down a cavi is not JDM... dont try to be smug with me......i will own you...


aight you got me. i sorry(but glad) i'm not an import expert, i got better things to do. my point is a honda civic puts a few "jdm" parts(probably made by APC in mexico) on his car and calls it a jdm civic, what is the difference in doing the same with a cavalier?.I do,however, agree with you on the miss badging thing. no not misbadging..... a civic ej coupe 96-00 is not a JDM vehicle .. when i see people say JDM when talking about these vehicles i laugh because the coupe was not offered in japan.... so a JDM cavalier just makes me cringe and laugh at the same time.......

1. The sticker is not a drift sticker or whatever........ it is the Wakaba mark- a sign that must be placed on the vehicle of beginner drivers in Japan, and no, its not "just basic rice" :rolleyes:
