Noticed a dark blue M5 with [black?] wheels and what looked to be a couple snoopy pipes poking out the back bumper doing his best to go out of his way, intentionally miss his turn and take the long way to where he was going in order to catch up with me earlier this evening. Thought about dusting him off real quick since my car is loving this weather, but resisted the urge... Anyone know who that might be? I thought it was our new friend MJ, but his car doesn't have black oem wheels and Rice Pipes. (pardon my ignorance if they're actually a decent exhaust... Just going by how it looks)

wasnt me, i was feeling too lazy to come out last night. my exhaust looks stock (chrome quad tips) and my rims are still oem silver. ive only heard of 2 other e39 m5s in the area, never seen them though. maybe he liked your car and wanted to get a closer look :dunno:

Check to see if the compressor clutch is free and able to free spin to check for a siezed up compressor otherwise check refigerant level more than likely just a leak and needs to be recharged.

With him spinning all the way down the track..the second race he was 12 mph slower than what his first run was. Phenix city needs better track prep or better yet they need to repave the shit.

If you're gonna go to Reynolds, just wait til Saturday and enjoy the MCE track day. It's a great event, and the last few test and tunes they were packed. I think I got 8 runs total over two nights.

Every amp is diff but all should have a recommended voltage and amperage needed to work correctly but if u want to get into real specifics hit up Willard on here

Look at what each is required, if you run off a head unit you may only need a 12vdc power source that has a high amp rating

we need to start making a better shoiwing on friday nights... sonic sucks... go up there and stand around while noone wants to race, and if someone does want to race its hard to get out there to watch... its $10 to get into the track, and there is always cars in your class out there...

I thought he was bullshitting me ive never seen a gsr with that kind of compression numbers lol Needs paint but ill handle that soon and id rather have leather interior so im gonna swap out the cloth for it...and other then MAYBE lowering springs its staying bone st

Lol I had it re calibrated by Snapon about 3 months ago and I think the head has been shaved quite a bit... Two cylinders were 240 and the other two were right at 260 lol???? I was like wtf. I had just checked brad Jenkins comp right before and it was right where it was suppose to be with one cyl being about 35 low so something is deff going on in there

My brother has a coupe shell that we probably won't be using, and he's thinking about selling his built SR hatch (both 240sx's). The shell would be cheap, the built SR setup wouldn't be. Mine is not for sale.

The hatch is a built bottom end, gt3076r, 400+ hp car with a lot of mods. It's faster than my LS1 hatch. Looking for $8k obo for it. If you are interested I'll PM you more info on it.

Kinda. I have a set of Sqaure G6's, 5zigen fno1rc's, and maybe a full set of steelies (all 4 lug). I'm finally going 5 lug, so one of the first two sets are informally for sale (haven't gotten around to listing either) and I could let the steelies go for cheap if you need something to ride on.

And as far as I know there are quite a few SR 240's in town. I know of two RB's that come out from time to time also.

Fowlers in Phenix City, IMO the best local shop for alignments. Columbus Springs after them.
