that's insane... I still haven't seen your car I don't think. I remember the pix of it though. My car is not built at all, just bolt ons, clutch, and mounts. I didn't want to tear into the motor at all yet. I'll do it when/if I ever hurt something bad, but I've never done it in the past so I don't see actually building it in the future. My next car however, will have a built motor, but it will NOT be a honda.

it's not a 500hp car, but I don't know what a 500hp car looks like, and the ones of us that are over 500whp sound just like the ones that are 300whp lol. I've left 600-750's (as long as they're stock) plenty of times til about 150ish, and that's when they start pulling back up to my door.

i have heard of the full race kit making 500 on the newer si's hell to build them all you need is rods pistons springs and retainers and a good turbo setup to make 800.... and yea full race kit only runs a 3" down pipe but thats all you getting out that kit and thats pushing it

I actually think I am going to sell the Evo though and go VIP Lexus. I need to grow up a little and don't have time to mess around, go to races, break it, and eat the down time. Last time she broke and I had to do the rebuild, I about cried at the cost. about 200 miles on the new clutch and that too, was a costly change out. She's good to go now, just springs and retainers would have her totally built other than drivetrain.

solution bro- go out and take about 20-30 pics of every detail. post them on honda-tech (which i saw your thread btw, we at acura were in shock) and your problem is solved. I ran into a flat black 350z yesterday afternoon at Exit 10 for a spirited drive. It had a wide body rear, and Rotora BBK's up front. I know it wasn't filled with the normal I/H/E/tune, so if anybody knows him/her tell them that I said VERY NICELY BUILT CAR. I picked a fight, and although I began this spirited drive in 4th gear instead of 3rd, the difference in our power levels were quite clear lol. I assume it's turbo'd lol.

I've tracked and been able to dd this car with a less powerful setup, brake wise, and other than one time me on the stock system, I've never had issues. The power of the engine is well matched with the suspension and now the brakes are just another stabilizer.

Duct tape is for high boost applications, on my car I use masking tape which very reliable and sufficient for low boost cars.
