Cause the car was originaly green, was repainted green, then had a full color change to red, jambs under trunks and all. Then had a full color change to canned flat black, then hot hues flat black...then painted cyclone blue off the 98 civic sedans lol basically i did it to remove the weight, see what was under the paint since carfax said its never been wrecked and to shed 38lbs lol maybe a little more but the rest was sanded off. I scraped off 38lbs. Also pulled all the interior and removed all sound deadning. I wont have any vacation till the 28th this month i used my last one spreak break to go to florida.

Same here, i told them that if i was going to be charged a sponsorship fee that i would rather not sell, my threads deleted, and save a few bucks. There are no set rules written anywhere where regular users can view them which leaves it to moderators discretion for all we know. A lot of my FS threads are for the same stuff because it didn't sell the first time (or the second time.) Why would i want to pay to list things for sale that aren't going to get sold? I do appreciate the free listings that IA was providing for a while, but i feel that if there is going to be some "regulating" going on with the FS section - then there needs to be some set rules in place to abide by.

A lot of my FS threads are for the same stuff because it didn't sell the first time (or the second time.) Why would i want to pay to list things for sale that aren't going to get sold? I do appreciate the free listings that IA was providing for a while, but i feel that if there is going to be some "regulating" going on with the FS section - then there needs to be some set rules in place to abide by.

But perhaps Brooks can enlighten us as to what exactly is going on with the "suits upstairs" (moderators section/owners perspectives) when it comes to what the F has been going on; things have been changing around here. From a personal point of view, it seems to me that whoever it was that bought IA a little while back is attempting to realize this sites maximum profit. First it went from one advertisement per page to three. Now it's up to four (if you look at the bottom of the page) Pretty soon there will be advertisements right in the middle of threads, or at the beginning of each OP, followed by keyword hotlinks to popup advertisements that show up when you accidentally mouse over (HT does this), then there will be premium membership packages that you can pay for to avoid seeing 50% of the advertisements and then the lousy free types where you get the pleasure of viewing every single one. Shooting for profit is perfectly acceptable when it comes to a business (such as this one, IA) - however, start cracking down on members that have been active contributing members for over 5 years, and things will start to change over time. You can't do that with the attitude of "well, you'll get pissed, get over it and just come back anyways."

Import Lounge could see an increase in membership - just as Import Atlanta did when all the Import Lounge folks got pissed and left for IA (many years ago) - Shoot, Import Lounge STILL keeps a better updated front page that IA could dream of with things that are actually interesting to read...

I think the problem is people on this site sell many cars a year "on the side" and want to be considered a person and not a business. Usually a few people ruin the fun, but once you make a rule you have to enforce it. For shits and giggles I looked up the dealer licensing requirements and learned something new.

I sell the majority of parts/cars on there. H-T is the shiznit when it comes to selling parts. You have people who pay what you want and not lowball you.
Ive never paid a fee or what not. They deleted my car forsale threads because they said I had sold more then 3 cars, and I have never sold any of my cars on IA accept for my Del Sol and that was after the fact. They said well you made threads for them to sell. I said ohh so I get 3 attempts and then after the 4th I have to pay a fee or get a license??? LOL IA is really getting ridiculous, you figure all this extra money that were getting that they could have a better server.

Also for sponsorships to be on the site it was 350 for the year. But that was back in 2006. God knows what it is now. Thats why Bucky left for the longest time, he called out the new owner and the owner got pissed at him and banned him for no reason.

its already tuned as of last friday, my wastegate wont make over 12lbs and i cant figure out that 4 port synapse bullshit. So i ordered a 46mm precision so i can turn the boost on up to 30-35.

Only thing i can find is a bunch of cummins people running em. A guy from Synapse told me to run my output source off my boost solenoid to port c. That caused the boost jump to 20lbs there was no in bewteen which wouldnt work cause the car needs to be tuned between 5-20 range. Then we tied in port a with port c, that only gave us 12lbs. Then tryed port a and b tied together and port c separate and only was able to get 8. I decided ill loose the headache and get a normal simple wastegate with a top and bottom port only instead of that overengineered synapse gate.

no i deff bought this car from a junkyard for $150 tore all the interior,body parts, and suspension, off and threw it away put itr interior w/ roll cage, all skunk2 suspension, molded the engine bay did all the paint and bodywork and put a swap in it... as soon as i can get it running right ill finish making it look good.

Well i got exciting news that my car was spinning badly on the dyno today with the slicks lol. It got hot as hell so he's gonna probably finish it up tomorrow... the car was getting heat soaked bad. I had to buy a new wastegate, a aem 5 bar map sensor along with 200 in q16 race gas cause of that damn synapse wastegate and ebay 4 bar map sensor i had! :( I learned my lesson! Buy top dollar parts!!!!
