I have a GATO racing intake manifold(80mm bore),it has a bolt pattern for a 5.0 t/b,I have seen guys use this mani with a mustang t/b on hondas with the ford tps sensor being used,I wanted to know have anyone done this setup or seen it.I need some insight on what throttle cable to use,and if i can wire the ford tps in to my honda.

you will likely need to adjust the sensor to read ~.5v closed and ~4.5v wide open

oh yea man we was driving under tractor trailers hanging out the sun roofs it was a blast!

and nah bruce i hooked up the nos onthe del slow. I actually think the del sol could make it to about 130-140 on a long straight road LOL it only has 3200 miles on a rebuilt long block.

All of the classes I want have an opening. They are allowing for an extension of early registration on the 29th and 30th. So I'm going to register tomorrow.. So actually, I'm still considered "early." Prob 3 of my classes are going to be online anyways.

hell i got priorites, i got 7k worth of bills to pay off with my taxes, tune my car, im buying my aunts truck from her and by summer im buying a is300...Im sure i will blow my car by then and rebuild it. Then ill be shooting for around 800-900. That k series will need 1000 to run what a 850whp b series will. Johnathan Reynolds k series integra makes more the tony palo and chris miller but yet he can barley break 8's and the other two running half a second faster with less power!

Well if you saw the badge, the you're good, lolol. Not knowing your vantage point to the Civic was my downfall. Most people see one from afar and just call it that. I'll tell you how you can spot one (not that you see these everyday):

CVCC
Front grill will have CVCC badge on the lower right portion of the grille.
A HONDA/CVCC badge on the front fenders behind the wheel well.
A CVCC/CIVIC badge on the left hand side of the hatch lid.
A 5speed badge on the right hand side of hatch lid (if CVCC badge is gone).

That's pretty much it, lolol.

If the turn signals are on top of the front bumper, it is a 1973-77 model and if they are under the bumper, it is a 1978-79 model.

There you have it, lolol. 1st Gen Honda class is dismissed, I suppose. Later, QD.

fixed the valve tap on my white civic, trading it tom or sunday then gonna be rocking something new. 8)

fyi- when adjusting valves, never adjust them on tdc when the cam gear is not in the up postion. i adjusted them when it was pointing down and no bueno

Ya, when you do cylinder 1 at TDC, the cam gear can be point up or down....when it is pointed up, thats when you your supposed to adjust the valves. not down. i did tdc on 1, 3, 4, then 2...but the cam gear was wrong. therfore everything was adjusted wrong. :doh:
pointed up for tdc at 1...pointed left(front of the motor) when tdc at 3...down when tdc at 4, then right(rear of motor ) at tdc on 2.

Yeah, do TACP. Then you get to hang out with us Army guys, LOL. I thought you couldn't come in as TACP or CCT though. Used to be you had to try out for it in basic. Is it not that way anymore? TACP, is good stuff though, so are the CCT and PJ's. If the route you're going for is wanting adventure CCT, PJ then TACP is probably the order for that. DO NOT be in a hurry, wait for your job like the other guy said!!!

I have to lose 25 pounds! They go by weight not body fat like some of the other branches! But I started this morning! I did 2 1/2 miles at lake bottom and 2 100 yards sprints and 50 situps/pushups. Threw up for a solid 5mins. It felt good! I have to be strict on my diet!

Iheard its intense. The requirements arent nothing like run a mile an a half in 11mins do 40 pushups and 50 situps in a min. and do 2 pull ups but strive for 6.:gay:
But TACP gets paid alil more due to the fact that i would be stationed in an army base. Airforce pays more due to the fact that I guess you dont get the luxury of the airforce base so they feel they need to pay more if your on a army base:thinking:
and i have 42 college credits so dont quote me but I believe I go in as a E3? they say if you have 20+ then you start higher in rank.

Yeah, you should be able to pull atleast E-3 out of that. But the physical requirements are probably more demanding than that, atleast after you get the acceptance. Losing 25lbs might not be too too bad though. Paul also runs, well used to anyways. Maybe the two of you could be run buddies. If you are trying for those type of jobs ou might want to smoke yourself atleast once a week also. Just saying, they will dog you out the first weeks of training to weed out the weak and those not motivated enough to do what is required.

Yeah, you should be able to pull atleast E-3 out of that. But the physical requirements are probably more demanding than that, atleast after you get the acceptance. Losing 25lbs might not be too too bad though. Paul also runs, well used to anyways. Maybe the two of you could be run buddies. If you are trying for those type of jobs ou might want to smoke yourself atleast once a week also. Just saying, they will dog you out the first weeks of training to weed out the weak and those not motivated enough to do what is required.

Am on suspension b/c I argued with the owner/chef my last day of work before my xmas vaca. She told me I shoulda been standin back in the kitchen waitin on my food to come up. I told her that I had somethin else I had to do while it was bein made and that she yells and bitches at us when we stand in the kitchen and wait for our food. She's a psycho bitch that doesn't need to be dealin with the general public. I'd had enough of her talkin to me like shit and treatin me like shit, and I told her so. *shrug* I'm not gonna kiss ass or be treated like shit. They don't pay me enough.

That's b/c there's a buncha scatter-brained guys plannin stuff ;) As far as the location, I just don't think you're gonna find too many where there aren't idiots. Idiots are everywhere. I suggested West Point a while back.. the marina or whatever off River Road. No one ever said anything about it. Would be nice to just go to a sit-down place and have a dinner instead of standin around in the cold. Jus throwin that out there.
