How do you still cruise/race/whatever with gas prices as high as they are. I'm drivin like a grandpa 1st 3rd 5th always. What bout yall?

i just try to not let it bother me. though driving to south florida and back at 11-12 mpg sucked ass last week :headslap:

Its around $1.70 per liter here in Korea. Gas prices have gone up so much since i've left.

no a liter is a lil less than a quart.....theres about 4 of em in a gallon so for them its like 7 bux a gallon...... ehhh that sucks ASS here its 1.99 too

shifting 1st to 3rd to 5th won't help you save gas... just keep your rpm's lower and in the power band so the engine doesn't have to work hard... If you're bogging it down when shifting from 1st to 3rd you're using more gas than you need to and if you wind it out in 1st to get to where you need to be in 3rd you're wasting gas...

My Stage II WRX gets great mileage even at the track. I left from the Atlanta area , drove all the way to Reynolds, did 8 passes in the 1/4 mile, and back to Stockbridge to drop a friend off and I used 3 /4 of a tank.

During the week when I commute to work, I always shift before 3k and try to keep it out of boost as much as possible. I can squeeze around 330miles per tank.

Drive a 1.5L SOHC honda hatch back from 91. :)

30-40mpg, dependent. Of course...I can't race and win anything, but I do mountain runs and drive a shit-ton.
