My wife bought me a 66 beetle for Christmas but gave it to me early. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good places in or around the atlanta areas that I can get some parts for it. Here are some pics of her while I am doing the tear down.

nice there are a few german junkyards around here but i'm not sure if any cater to air cooled

Foreign Auto in Marietta is a great place for parts. One of the guys who works there is on VW Vortex and maybe this forum too.

here is the up and coming aircooled forum for georgia http://georgiadubs.forumotion.net/. i dont know if you are on there but there is a lot of good people with good info. i have the same name on there. i hope this doesnt make ia mad posting a different forum.

Theres a guy here in Athens who sells parts out of his house and he's got great prices. I don't have his contact info but Neil (Vinayak) does.
