Need someone that deal's with weighstations or scales (Where you at, QD?)

Alright, I've gotta get two weight receipts. One of a gross weight, the other of a tare weight. Couple questions of what all they print on receipts...

1) Do they put down driver/driver's license info?
2) How in depth are they on the receipt with "load contents."
3) Do they put down year/make/model of truck/vehicle?
4) Do they put down "trailer," "trailer type," or "# trailer axles," or "open/closed" trailer?
5) Do they mark trailer dimensions (IE 5x8, 10x8, etc)?
6) Do they mark license plate of vehicle and/or trailer?

This is for a regular vehicle possibly pulling a regular trailer (uhaul style). Not a CDL type move...

No...not transporting drugs, but need to know if I can make something happen or not with ease to me...

oh well i think they do front axles, drive axles and then trailer axles, and then they also gave you gross weight. but nothing about what is in it.

Not true.

Scales (such as at truck stops) will only print info of the truck number, total weight, steer tire weight, drive tire weight and tandem weight. No driver's license info is needed. They don't need year, make and model truck and they don't inquire of contents. You'll be fine with what you're doing.

Yes, I need a scale. Basically, this is what I'm trying to do...

I've got to appear as though I'm moving 1500-2000lbs of STUFF. They will not sponsor a POV (personally owned vehicle) unless it is the one actually hauling the stuff. The sponsorship amount is based on weight transported.

So what I have to accomplish is make it appear to them that I got a weight of an empty truck (let's just put out numbers for example, a 1000lb truck) then I have to drive it home, weigh it with the stuff I'm moving (supposedly household stuff, personal belongings, etc) and take it back up there and that weight has to be about 1500lbs (give or take) more. I just wanna make sure the sponsor doesn't tell me they won't sponsor the move after it's been done because "two tickets have different plates" or 'different drivers" or "different vehicles" or whatever.

When in fact what I'm doing is just getting receipts to hand in and say I moved the 1500lbs of household items when in actuality I'm moving a car.

Kinda hard to explain, but that's about the best I can explain it.

Weigh stations on the interstates aren't just for us big boys. Box trucks have to go through them as well. And some U-Hauls go through as well and other non-semis are required to travel through. Later, QD.

QD is correct. If all your wanting is a scale receipt then just hit up a truck stop. But dont show the DOT that scale ticket if its not correct.

You can have them add whatever information you would like to a scale ticket BTW. License plate number etc. But you dont have to.

It won't be shown to DOT. I just have to have "certified proof" that I'm "moving" 1500-2000lbs.

So we're probably taking my buddy's F350 through a scale wednesday just to get a baseline. Friday we'll go back with it weighed down with an additional like...1500lbs or so from a mix of bodies and concrete bricks and a tank of gas.
