Couple questions, Tmobile people...

1) Is it a good service or not? Granted I"m out here in Cali, but like customer service, lots of dropped calls? Would you recc them to anyone?

2) What's a good Tmobile phone? Preferably durable, and preferably flip/bluetooth cap. Most importantly, needs to be durable.

I think they're great, I think I have signal like every where I go.

I have a Blackberry, its pretty nice and durable

Got T-Mobile here.

1) Service is good for me, never have dropped calls, and the 3G coverage is constantly expanding. I never really need to call customer service, but the few times I have they were always good.

2) I have the G1 and love it. Its not a flip phone, but it does have bluetooth and its pretty durable.

i would not prefer t-mobile. They are known to drop signal if u leave from populated place, or even if there is allot of trees around you. me and x-resilience live in the same neighborhood, he got good signal, and me, well i cant even make a clear call. You know why, because at my place we have more trees than at his. it's stupid, we like 100 yards apart.

1. overall, service is good. However, it is not as good as AT&T or Verizon. I dont get reception in certain places that my friends would normally do.
2. I'm using nokia e65, unlocked phone .. works great :)

Hmm. The trees wouldn't really be a factor out here in Cali. I'm on a military base. We have an occasional tree here and there, but outside of base, and just out of town there are rolling hills. I wonder... Nonetheless, my buddy has Tmobile and in the barracks gets pretty good service, but no other provider seems to have that great of service. This is supposedly an ATT base, but I've been using my friend's ATT phone and I have to hug a window to make a call.

The girlfriend is suggesting ATT (go figure, she has them) but mom and sister had them and both hate ATT. I wonder if they've gotten better since they merged with Cingular?

Mom and sis now have verizon. They're great...just expensive.

Verizons internet is much slower. ATT has the fastest 3G out. ATT phone service is fine. Ive had them for years. Just bought the Iphone. dont know how i lived life without it. TMobiles service sucks. I started with them. They tried to charge me for stuff i didnt do so i dropped their asses like a bad habit.

Well, I mean, I don't know how much I'd be using the 3G, anyways

My gf has them and we live in ATL. She doesn't get signal at her restaraunt or at here at home. But my ATT is great. Lol

idk about cali but TMOBILE in Atlanta sucks balls.
i didn't have service in my own house
i live in Marietta so i mean its not like i am in the middle of nowhere. i didnt get service anywhere and got dropped calls. also they tried to say i signed a contract and make me pay a $800 termination fee. And i bought the phone straight up and i finally convinced them that i didn't sign anything after arguing with the manager for like 2 hours. T-Mobile sucks.

I've been using Tmobile for a while now... Never had a dropped call, never lost a signal, and my 3G connection is pretty damn fast (I have a G1). My gf lives in fucking oakwood and goes to school around the N.Ga. mountains and I still get service there too. I recommend them, and have never even had issues with customer service either.

No matter what anyone complains about, NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING sucks worse than Sprint. That service is the biggest bunch of bullshit. I just ditched them and went to Verizon 2 days ago. Verizon still has EVDO, better phones, better customer service, and better coverage area. I used to have Tmobile and never really had any problem with them, and having GSM was nice, as I travel overseas for work and it came in handy. Their plans are also VERY competitive in terms of pricing, and offer the best bang for the buck. Either way, I'm just glad I'm done with Sprint. I've never dealt with a bigger group of idiots than my phone calls to their service reps.

I have Tmobile and a BlackBerry Curve. Customer service is good however, a signal is hard to come by, at times. I'm not sure if that's attributed to the phone itself or the service.

lol the ? isnt great phone service the problem is you throwing the phone at a wall my advice would be the local phone pre paid aka metro pcs of cali as you can afford to repay for a phone in 6 weeks when you throw it at a wall like you have done so many of your other ones
