Well... I really hate to get rid of this, cause its the balls. But I don't have a 240 (yet), and I'd rather see it at home in someone's car, than just sitting in our office not doing anything.
The dash is for an S13, 89-91 Nissan 240sx. The original dash material was removed, and then it was professionally recovered in Blue Alcantara (Sparco Blue). The fabric was shipped from Roadwire, so as far as quality goes... it's some of the best around. This isnt BS knockoff fabric. It retails at like $150 per yard. We used 2 yards. A Roadwire rep came in town from Nashville to lay the fabric, in order to make sure it was done right. Alcantara does not stretch hardly at all, so if you tried to do this yourself, you'd be really hard-pressed to get it right in the first try without ruining a couple yards with glue (unless you've got LOTS of upholstery experience). This is the kind of thing that can set your car over the top style-wise.... transform the whole look.

I'm putting the price up at $500, and I just figured that's what it's worth when you consider the price for materials plus labor plus cost of OEM dash. But feel free to make offers... because I don't know if what it's REALLY worth, is gonna be realistic in the real world... I'll let you guys decide. Never been installed. And I have pics of the entire process if you want to see it (just email/PM me). My email is [email protected]. Name is Jonathan. Thanks for looking.

Like anything else, when you sell a used part on a forum, you dont typically account for "labor" when arriving upon a selling price. I would Agree @ $300 being a good asking price, that however doesnt mean the seller cant ask $1000 for it...as its worth as much as someone is willing to pay

Is that just labor, or does that include fabric+labor?

Hot.

Nothing wrong with your price either. I'll forward this to Echonova, but his dash is un-cracked and he has a HUD car I think. Can't hurt though right?

Biggest hurdle to selling is most 240 owners are broke-ass teenagers

Sorry but it looks like some of the stuff I used to see in vans back in the 70's!

A good clean uncracked dash looks way better. Besides with the color it is you'll have to do the rest of the car, i.e. door panels and the like to make it match. So your talking $$$$. Now if it were black or another stock color you might have something.

$500 is way to much for this board for sure!

Heck even a $100 is way to much for a dash your just gonna recover! I got one that I'll give you that needs recovered just to get it out of my way!!

You've got NO clue do you?? I am an ASE master tech and I own an import shop here in north GA for over 6 years now. I've been wrenching on cars before you were born! I'm from Michigan and used to help my dad in his shop build hemi cudas when you were more then likely still wet behind the ears!

Like I said before, It looks like the inside of vans that I SAW back in the 70's!

I own 3 s13's at the present with one putting out now over 460whp and if you think a S13 is the FINER things in life you must live under a rock! Let me guess you also think Moon Pies and Little Debbie are gourmet dishes!!

You are hilarious!! I like your humor.
So lets analize the facts here at hand.
ASE master tech?/ Congrads. Im not a hater. Even though its a walmart based tech degree but its something non the less.
You own a shop as well. For 6 years!! Thats great. Dont let the economy get you. LOL
Who the FUCK cares about Michigan. "Back in the 70's..... You sound like a 50 year old perv on forums. You must pose as a girl on other sites.
The finer things in life is not a S13 Dash.....Its what you do to make something special to you. At your age you should no that. Your not a teenager....Right???:???:

Little debbies and moon pies huh?
At your age you were there when they first came out huh?

But your OK with me OLDY.

More than likely it was a bold face lie.

I was just giving him the benefit of the doubt. If he's using lower quality material... then it's kind of like me saying:
"I'm selling my Porsche for $40,000." And him replying:
"I sell cars for $5,000."

But meh... If he's really doing it that cheap and doing a good job (shop or no shop) more power to him.

Bump. I've still got this damn dash. Feel free to make offers (or trade offers) if anyone is interested. I don't even have an S13 anymore, so I need it gone before I end up getting oil on it of something. =)
