I seriously doubt the dog was trying to save the other dog's life. Animal instincts were in effect and that dog was probably dragging off his next meal to a safe place to chow down. Later, QD.

i really doubt that dude... dogs have men known to save mans life... if two dogs grew up together the bond like brothers. Have you not herd stories of there being two dogs...one is old and dies and the other gets depressed and ither ends up dieing or going crazy.
