^^ Correct it puts alot of strain on the Mounts, tranny, axles! can break either or depending how you drive, Also depending on the preasure plate it can weaken an damage your Clutch master cylinder an slave, or Cable depend what year car...

Don't forgot that this will wear out the splines on the input shaft causing a loose fit eventually it will complete strip the splines either on the clutch or the input shaft.

Unsprung is never a good idea for the street.

It looks like you're trying to buy the most agressive clutch out there. Its a common mistake and I think everyone will agree that will you regret this.

Get the LEAST aggressive clutch that meets your most aggressive requirement and holding power. Don't over-do it.

Well 1st of all it is not necessarily true that more # of 'pucks' = stronger clutch that can hold more power. For instance Comp Clutch's 'Stage 4' has 6 pads compared to their 'Stage 5' which has 4 pads.

Anyway, I daily drive on an ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate & ACT Solid Hub (4 Pad) Disc and I wouldn't say it's extremely uncomfortable but it can get annoying in stop & go situations and the smoothness of shifting decreases also (since there are no springs in the disc to absorb the shock). I was getting tired of the springs popping out of my clutch discs (once lodging in my PP, making it useless to me then) & having to drop the tranny & buy another clutch kit (side note: Comp Clutch FTL) so I got unsprung this time. Oh and yeah your left leg will definitely get a workout, my left compared to right is swolle LOL!

I have daily driven a Lethal Injection Motorsport 6 pick unsprung clutch in my 240 for nearly a year now. It does take some getting use to and its not smooth at all but its no THAT bad. I hardly ever stall, maybe once every few months, it just takes a little getting use to.

6 years ago I had ACT Unsprung 6 puck with the extreme pressure plate on my old green da. Once you get used to it, it's not that bad. I got the clutch as a combo for a good price. I was like shit why not. I was going to college in buckhead and getting stuck in rush hour everyday.
