p.s. the real ultimate gangster one is the touchscreen climate control/navigation/6disc changer.

It will not work. From what I have read the whole GPS system is wired throughout the car so just the head unit will not work.

this is true,
usually when a multifunction head unit like that is used, they (the manufacturer) will set up a bus system and put the actual control units for the radio and nav in the trunk or under the back seat. Unless the system used and independent bus for itself, grafting it from one platform to another would present its own challenges. Anything is possible, and im sure it wouldn't be ridiculously difficult for someone with a little understanding and some wiring diagrams.
moreover, i hope it DVD based, or reprogrammable, or you wouldn't be navigating anywhere...

It reminds me of 1998. But, if it has a map of Japan, you can use it for an extra JDM Point.

What people do and this what I've seen what people do to Prelude's is that they run the Navigation CD from Canada and basically working into the JAP system. 3 people did it so far and worked like it came from the dealer but it was basically a huge stinking pile of wire's, ecu, relays, this and that, and other deals that they actually said it was not worth it at all. You could just run to your local BB or Fry's and get the Nuvi 880 and be gangsta as fudge, since you can talk to it. LOL

No it isn't . Poor part means, trying to get everything on your car jdm even if it won't work. Just for the whoah factor is shamefull. It been known for years like 10 that it's not worth it to try to use the radio, navi and such from japan. To much trouble for little results.

I could give two shits about the "JDM" fad. I posted it up to get responses. Like yours, It's greatly appreciated. I like the simplicity of plug-in-play.
