I was in Japan for 3 weeks on Vacation and went almost everywhere :D It was fun, and the whole time there I wanted to see VIP cars since that is where it all started.

I believe they have a cooler car scene than we do lol, but I didn't see any crazy huge meets going on. The only one sort of meet was when in Hiroshima the streets were blocked off and the VIP cars/club were circling the block a few times.

Also there were girl car enthusiasts there ;) A few of em had Diana decals on their cars and were wearing jackets that said the same.

There were a lot of hot cars, much more than if you went to downtown Atlanta and walked around for a day.

Let's not forget the gadgets and toys too. Japan is awesomesez!

Mostly in Tokyo there were people that spoke english. And if you wanted to order anything the menus had pics of everything. I thought that was awesome. That way you know what you're getting before you order lol. No suprises!

Um I think it was almost 4k for all the places? Went from Tokyo and traveled to Hiroshima staying a few nights at the cities inbetween. The most expensive was Hyatt Regency Tokyo because it's so close to everything and is in the govt district. It was $300 per night and was 3K alone lol.

Lodging isn't very expensive, just like here it depends where you go. Hyatt Tokyo was $300 per night. Live Max in Osaka was around $80/night

Airfare was around $1500, got tickets at last minute.

At the same time you want to pick up a Japan Rail pass, and Suica/icoca card if you plan on taking the transit or JR rails. Taxi's start at 710Y and add up from there but aren't terribly expensive if you just want to take those instead.

Food is around the same of what you'd expect here. But if you go make sure you pay attention to prices, and their serving sizes are smaller for both food and drinks.
Refills aren't common like they are here a small cup of soda/drinks at a dine in place were usually 510￥almost $5.00.

Most of the $ was spent in Akihabara which is the largest electronics district. Take at least 2 days to check everything out you'll be doing some walking :D If you're there stop in at Yodobashi Camera. It's around 9 whole floors worth of electronic goodies lol.

Can't really say how much would be enough, since you may stay in one area or explore the other cities.

If I ever go again, might want to just stay in Tokyo. There is a LOT to see just in that one place.

This is how you get rid of them! Stopped by another arcade can't get enough of Pop n' Music 16 and Beatmania. Everyone is way too good at the games. This girl is awesome she played everything in the arcade like perfectly.
