Congrats on you not taking any pain meds or anything. I'm getting married this coming May, so we'll have a baby in that next year so. HOW painful was it without any pain meds or anything? I pretty much cry when I get a paper cut, so I know, pain medication is the only way I'm going to make it.

Thank you! I am not going to even try and sugar coat it.... it hurt like HELL. I went into it believing that I could do it without it, and I somehow managed to maintain that mindset throughout labor. Even though it was the worst pain I have ever even believed existed, I would definitely do it again.

Lol!

No medical reason... no time restraint... I just really believed that I could do it without it, and I was going to do everything in my power to do it on my own. I was scared, and it hurt like hell, but I am so happy that I was able to do it. My husband was scared... I think he asked me at least 10 times if I wanted something for pain.

LOL. My soon-to-be husband, is going to be begging someone to give me something for the pain, he knows how little of pain I can take so he'll be doing anything and everything not to get yelled at that day, lol, haha. I almost feel bad for him. :D ;)

A woman giving birth to a child without pain meds is no longer a man's wife, but instead a vicious, ravenous, fire breathing monster that would send the fear of God into the very soul of any husband that is in the room. Think Exorcist, only with more swearing. :lmfao:

AND NO PAIN MEDS!? I went into it hoping not to have an epidural but after 3 hours of excrutiating pain and NO PROGRESS I was like FUCK THAT!! Plus, I was like no one is going thru this pain but me and NO ONE is gonna give me a "You've made it thru 13 hours of the worst pain you've ever felt" award... Give me something!! So, I had an epi and 13 hours and 6 min later I had my little Maximus!! He's 21 months now and SOOOO MUCH FUN!

You're welcome! High respect for hte people that have enough will power not to take anything! I'd try it myself. My soon to be husband tells me now (and im not even pregnant or married yet) that he's signing me up for all the pain medication and ect, offered b/c i won't be able to take it, that and i think he's scared im gonna hit him in the delivery room L:OL

LOL! No big deal at all! I'm sitting at home watching her sleep. Kind of bored at the moment.

My water broke at 1:00 AM... got to the hospital at 1:30 AM, and I had her at 4:49 AM.

Thank you!!! It is very true... it completely redefines "love." I have seen pictures of Max on here! He is handsome!!!

I got really lucky!! My doctor was amazed. I was only in active labor for a little over 3.5 hours. I was already 5cm when I got to the hospital and I was ready to push a little over 3 hours later. I only pushed for 8 minutes. My doctor said that since I went so quickly with my first that when we choose to have our next child, we need to make sure we live REALLY close to the hospital!

Definitely a HORROR STORY!! OMG.. it hurts so bad... I was in labor so long, my epidural wore off and I felt EVERY contraction, but couldnt feel anything below my waist so I didn't know where to push.. It was UNREAL! But overall, the best experience I've ever had.

Rick, make sure you do a maternity test to make sure she's the Mother. I did that to all my chillren's Mommies.

Congrats on that child, dude. Make sure you treat her special because she damn sure is.

Hey, man, if you need anything, hit me up as I have a child that has just outgrown most of his gender-neutral baby care items and a 6 year old girl that we may have things left from. Later, QD.
