Auto-tune does the same thing, it uses a vocoder. Its what T-pain, Kanye, and Wayne are using. You can change the pitch matching however you want. Thats why many artist try it on their own before realizing you actually have to know what you are doing.

but back to the subject..when hes not playing around or being obviously lazy..he rips records. on top of that he sells like crazy and plays in every club ive been to haha. soo wayne=success!
