I'd take the coupe but the drop top is extremely hot I.M.O.....

Although, what's the point? It's going to be so similar to the new A4 drop top and I don't get the marketing plan...The S5/A5 is "larger" than the A4 platform but not much. Kind of like if BMW came out with a 435i convertible...Would it sell? Meh, probably.

I'd rather go with an S4 cabrio. This S5 looks kinda big...

I don't like it, I do like the coupe's styling however. Hate the performance though.

Definitely would take the coupe, but I personally don't think any car looks better as a vert.

There will be no A4 convertible, which is why they came out with this.

I HATE verts. It's a good looking car otherwise. It needs an S54 swap.

They perform extremely well.

Just seemed to lack some balls and the shifting was too smooth, can hardly feel it go into gear. I don't really like that feeling.

I love Audi but this is bullshit. BMW 3 series, IS convert and G37 convert AND Volvo C30 Convert are all hardtops. Hell add the Pontiac G6 and VW EOS.

A softop? Utter bullcrap.

Should have been a hardtop.

The shifting is effortless, love it or hate it most people like it though. The chassis is amazing, the car is extremely predictable and much easier to drive hard and to the limit then most cars you can think of. It really runs well for its power and weight. I was running with and passing 911's, M3's, Z06's and the sort all day in ours over the summer time at R.A and it was completely stock. Granted, I had this thing figured out and was running flat out in no time.....
Showroom stock racing FTW
The thing ran very well. In fact the only cars that passed me in two 30 min sessions I got to drive it was this guy who qualified 2nd for the 24hr of Nurnburg in his GT-3, a 750hp 996 Turbo and a few other race cars. Just my 02. on how it performs.
