I also keep the following at my bedside: A 12ga magnum double pistol grip shotgun, a .45 ACP pistol, and a 6.8mm SPC AR15. I also have a .270 rifle in case I only wound them and they run down my driveway.

It's only happened a handful of times over the last couple years, but it's enough to keep me on the lookout, especially since there are not many black people who live out here, and the cars that come down the driveway have been black people... (and no I'm not racist or think that only black people rob houses. I do however think it's odd for a black person to be coming down people's driveway out here in the country where all my close neighbors are white).

You just get that uneasy feeling. I got a case of it pretty bad a few months ago and ended up calling my mother and father just to make sure they were okay. They were fine, but I couldn't shake the feeling for a few days. It sucked, but I'm glad that I was wrong.

I can relate... feeling was shook recently, only lasted for 3 days or so but it was more like a conscious feeling of - "damn there so much sht going on should I be worried about something?"

Most you can do is make sure you make wise decisions and look aout for your friends and fam.
