It sits with less than 8 miles on the odometer because Group B and Group S (the car this class was designed for) were banned before the car could even begin testing.

It's a sad day when Group B got banned. Sure it was unsafe, but fuck if it wasn't entertaining!

Walter Rohrl said that group B was the most exciting type of cars he'd ever driven. I feel the biggest factor in killing Group B wasn't Henri Toivonen death. It was the need for crowd control.

I know most of the Group B cars have turned into hill climbers or rally crossers but that hp might be overkill compared to a modern WRC spec machine on a special stage.

That video was insane. Watching that thing pick up a wheel was pretty impressive, I could only imagine something like that at Andretti, fuck the league carts. lol
