2002 Toyota camry electrical problem

I was driving down the road and the instrument panel and radio backlights went out. Everything works fine, except for the backlights. I checked every fuse and all of them were good, even the ones under the hood. any info?

I would check the connection to the instrument panel. also check your dimmer switch

a ground for the illumination.
