It was a fairly good turnout. About 20 to 25 cars ate the peak attendance, with people coming and going as usual with the meets. I really only took pics of the FDs, as they're usually the rarest Rx-7s at meets and I have plenty of pics of the FCs and FBs that attended already from other meets.

I thought all RX-7's blew up in the war of 1994. Good to see some nice ones survived. Also good to see the Dominic Toreno and Erwin didn't bring their cars.

Good pics, I love the view looking down. How many did we have, like 15-20 cars?

I had counted 21 cars like 30 mins before that picture. But I think the white convertible 88 left so that might have had 20? Hard to tell with the trees. There was also my friend 300ZX at thevery end, Tim's Lotus, someone's Accord wagon just below the crop line of that photo, and the truck that was selling the parts made it add up to like 23 people, but still like 20 Rx-7s.

I was down there in the truck. Girod left in his vert early on.

Yeah, I think it'd be fun to do it again sometime in the warmer weather.

The NSX and the Vette should have stayed. Just about every FD there had a big single. LOL

Oh and it has been sigged. Officially.

Looks like there were some nice cars there!

Also, some of the car owners may not want their license plates on the internet. :2cents:

People see mine on the street. I have always thought the reasoning behind that was lame. Somebody is going to track it down and steal it? LOL Really?

Nobody should be worried about it.

no one will steal our 7... please remember we have Mazda's not HONDA's.. people are scared of our weird working engines... so dont worry..

Plates edited, and the FC was one of the top stolen cars in the day because of easy to brake master cylinder locks, and the sex appeal of the turbo models. Remember, these were moderately high status cars competing with Porsches when new. All Rx-7s have weak door handles, SA, FBs, FCs, and FDs, but those don't relate to easy breaking in nearly as much as the FC's locking system. I hope everyone's happy now. I heard the 7 pulling out, it sounded about as good as a stock port rotary can without being N/A (sorry turbo gus, the whistling and whishing noises are cool, but those turbos muffle the sounds a lot, then again so does a muffler, but those are designed to rework the air to muffle it purposefully.

That's Tim's Elise, it's only relevant because he owns an FB and an FD. The FD isn't running, and the FB isn' a good winter car with the carburetor, so he took his Lotus.

ha ha!! i hand glazed his car like 10 days ago just to show him it could be shined up, thats why its like 2 toned shiny top dull bottom.
chris and i had just put a clutch in his (this) car the night before at the shop i work at.
it's worth noting, this is his "beater," he has an 87 Turbo II that is his baby, his project. the motor is in my garage, just waiting some apex seals.
i so badly wanted to go to this meet, but i had to go to my niece's 2nd birthday. Also, i had JUST paid taxes on my car, so my tags aren't reinstated yet, that and im in the middle of new wheels (Enkei RP 01s), a VDI swap, EMS install and OMP delete...

great pics though!

There already IS an Rx-7 meet each month. The OGTA. First Tuesday of every month at Jeffery's sport's bar in Suwanee. I'd like to do this again with the IA guys as part of a mountain run though.
