that's a good price on just an fmic, but also getting the silicone couplers, t-bolts, and piping is a deal.

any of the bov you listed will be fine.

You could have the mount welded onto the piping or buy one of these. This is what I did.

I'm running the Greddy type RS on my CRX and the sounds is allright. I like the type S sound more but the knock off that came with the intercooler is crap and won't open at all. So I ordered a real Greddy type rs. The adapter pipe came with my intercooler kit.

The one that comes with that kit probably wont work or if it does not for long. Who cares about how it sounds as long as it works. Go with the Tial bov, hks bov, or the greddy rs bov.

dude the kit comes with the flange its right next to the blow off valve? Just take it to mainstream and they'll weld it on where ever the hell you like. That BOV will hold up and last just fine, its really hard to fuck up the design of a BOV, whether its a $59.99 version or a $205 version.

RIGHT in front of the blow off valve!

i know this is gonna sound dumb but wouldnt they have to cut a hole in the piping?

-S Double C-
11-24-2008, 09:08 PM
^^^YEPP they drill a hole in the pipe then weld the BOV over it

SPOOLIN
11-24-2008, 09:08 PM
they just use a hole saw, the whole process would probably take no more than 20 minutes.

SPOOLIN
11-24-2008, 09:09 PM
ill give you 25$ for that BOV if its just going to sit by the way. lol

My only problem with ebay piping is the clamps. They do not hold for me. I drove to gas station today from my house and I blew the cold side off twice. Just make sure you get good clamps.

bpoweredhatch
11-25-2008, 06:54 AM
they come with t bolt clamps.i hope they hold if not ill use my old ones.also i didnt hit it lol it just look like it on the top

SPOOLIN
11-25-2008, 08:19 AM
t bolt clamps will hold. If its all bead rolled you can actually use 2 worm clamps and they would hold up to 40 psi.

get rid of that filter...it's too restrictive. get a larger filter.

bpoweredhatch
12-14-2008, 08:08 PM
hey what do you mean buy larger?i got a brand new one that was on my intake

hondalover00
12-14-2008, 10:22 PM
i like the dryer the oldsetup was on

scttydb411
12-14-2008, 10:44 PM
one that's twice as tall. i've had cars come in with that half height filter you have on it and it is restrictive. i take it off and there is a big difference. it looks like you have quite a bit more space between the turbo and frame so get a larger surface area filter. the more surface area the more the turbo can breathe through it.

bpoweredhatch
12-14-2008, 10:50 PM
hey scott is this filter better?

bpoweredhatch
12-14-2008, 10:53 PM

bpoweredhatch
12-15-2008, 03:26 PM
i have another tuned ecu running a different turbo setup until i get it tuned. but thinking about taking it all off and doing a gsr or ls vtec

so how do u get it tuned? u put everything on and get it towed to a shop?

if you have a basemap and drive it easy then, most cases, you can drive it to the shop for tuning.

towing it is another option as well.

well i blew a head gasket before i could even get my exhaust fixed. i undone my intercooler piping so i wouldnt get into boost. so when i was on my way abbout a min from my house i noticed water in the oil. it still runs but i came across a great deal for my whole car without my turbo setup.its a fully built gsr engine trans and etc for my car what you guys think about that trade?
