I've got this project in my english 1010 class. exploring eachothers nontraditional "cultures" i have to show my partner about the car culture somehow. only problem is that im in tennessee now during school and im out of the loop as far as the car culture goes. wow that sounds cheesy but you know what i mean. is there anyone on here from or in the middle tennessee area? or what could i do to give her insight into the car culture.

I have relatives from not so far back that were nimibian tribesman. they happen to have fought lions just to become warriors. I dont know what you know about lions but they aren't like your average cat. I bet you would absolutely shit yourself if you ever saw a real life lion.. especially if you were only holding a sharpened stick and you were naked. come talk to me when some of your family members have gone on the zambutu bibjano; aka the trial of life. until you have done half the shit that they have maybe you shouldnt even talk to me like this.

Interesting...I'm doing a project on car culture as well.

So far, I'm just starting on the history of car customization. From what I've gathered, it started soon after WWII with soldiers returning from war to their 30s and early 40s-era cars. Since they couldn't yet afford new ones, they took to modifying theirs for performance and/or personal statement. I don't know if this is helping at all, but it's a starting point.
