I stopped using Limewire a while back, if I do, I get it, make a CD, and format my whole computer because there is no turning back.

switch to mininova.com, and use utorrent as a client. Much better search results IMO.

I've had Limewire Pro for about 3-4 years with no problems. As long as I download music only. Later, QD.

I honestly do not understand why you are not torrenting, if you search around, and get lucky you can join various private trackers, and then viruses, slow download speeds, poor quality content just becomes a thing of the past.

Even using sites like Isohunt, minnova, and demonoid, if you read the comments you should never get any kind of malware.

Just be careful. I have had mine go a little crazy at times but for the most part it's fine

Alright, I'm glad this was brought up.

I had Limewire and never had problems with it. Then, I upgraded to Limewire pro that someone gave me. It worked fine for a minute, then it wouldn't load at all. I took it off the computer and re-installed the "free" version, i.e. non-pro version. Now it never connects at all. I've tried all kinds of things, but nothing ever happens.

I've never worked with torrents or any other download thing. Can someone please direct me to where I can download music like I did on Limewire so that I can put it on my Itouch, the simpler the better?

Jamie I use bittorrent and ISOhunt.com. Those 2 together work great. I have yet to have any problems in the 365gb of music I have put on my computer. You have to download bittorrent. Then install it. (there is a free version out there) then when your ready for music, get on isohunt.com and type in what your looking for. Its easier to get full cds then it is to get individual songs. But when i have tried i have gotten individual songs before. :goodjob: Hope this helps!

I have been using Limewire Pro for about 3 years and I have never downloaded a Virus or had any issues. I just make sure after I download the music I want I delete them all off the PC, I never even open the files on the computer, I download.... move to the file to burn... BURN... DELETE :D

you gotta watch out when your doin that though cause sometimes if your trying to burn new songs from a cd that just came out the song might be named something else, or very poor quality.
