I just installed a new intercooler on my car. went for a test drive and saw the needle bounces at 5psi and stays..:???:

Im running straight off the wastegate at 7.25psi and my last intercooler held around 7psi.

its a bigger intercooler,so does that effect it?

Could be a boost leak, or it could be a significantly bigger intercooler which can cause a drop in PSI.

from what i know, it takes more air to fill up the larger IC which causes u to lose psi, but the bigger IC allows u to have more psi. if that makes sense :O

my last one was -27x6x3.5,,,this one is 28x7x2.5..so its a little bigger.
I double checked all my couplers and clamps and tightened everything i took off.
but with such low boost it could lose psi?
