COD WAW - ?'s for veteran difficulty.......stuck

i didn't think the game would be as hard as everyone said, but playing on veteran is ridiculous! 3 shots your dead.

but right now I'm stuck on relentless, after being stuck many times before. I'm at the part where you have to run down the hill, the air force drops some bombs and you follow the flame tank to the caves. anyone have some advice on this part? i looked up videos on youtube but im thinking that was not on veteran. that guy was just running around and i tried it, but as soon as i peeked around the corner of the tank, i was dead.

if anyone has some questions about veteran parts before that i may be able to help.

dude, i just beat the game on veteran, the best advice is take it slow, if your screen starts flashing, DO NOT peek. and keep your finger on the RB button, they throw a lot of grenades.

Oh and if you picked up the springfield, dont run down that hill, run down halfway then run back up and snipe the guys that come down. and for the flamethrowing tank, just sit back and watch the japs blow it up. while you sit back and snipe everyone u see. and smokes are very usefull.

If you think that part is hard, wait until you get the the last 2 levels of the game as a russian, I tried for like 4 days trying to pass that part.

great, i was hoping this would be the worst part of it.....lucky me. i wanted to use some smokes but i dont have any. ive tried running up to where it starts sending the people out, then ive tried to run all the way to the top and running back to snipe but people always just keep coming.

i finally got it a while ago, hopefully the part where you get to the tunnel and re-spawn after dying is where i will start next time i load. its not so bad if you get lucky and dont get raped by grenades when you follow the tank. just maybe 2 or 3 guys you have to worry about then the rest of the douche bags finally run up and do something.

oh make sure you saved, lol or you have to do that level all over, and that level isn't easy esp. the part right after the tank your sitting on gets blown up and you have to fight uphill.

haha i did save, i just didnt know if it would restart me there or at the bottom of the hill. i think it was cod4 i made it through a hard part and did the save and quit and the next time i loaded i was back to where i was stuck before.

If you reached a checkpoint and saved you will load at the last check point that you saved at.

figured i would come back and say i made it.....probably the most stressful game i have ever played (on veteran, i went back on recruit a few times for trophies and it was like you could just run through everything). but there was a few times where i saved in the middle of a mission and when i came back to play it would say my save data was incompatible with that version, you can restart from the beginning of the mission or something. that really pissed me off, but a few times i just reloaded and it would work. now im just working on the trophies.
