You can upload your pictures to photobucket, or you can upload it to our site. Click on Go Advanced (Underneath the box where you type to post), Scroll down and you will see Manage Attachments. Click on it, select pictures of your car on your computer and it should upload it. Then you post and it will be posted as an attachment.

(AAM) and Turbo XS (TXS), our fuel delivery and engine management. I was one of the first to receive the AAM return fuel solution and race duty swirl tank fuel system. This system eliminates the OE in-tank fuel pressure regulator to provide reliable boost induced fuel needs.
With hungry 750cc RC engineering injectors clamped tightly in the AAM billet fuel rails, one fuel pump simply won’t get the job done. A Walbro GSS342 HP in-tank pump feeds the AAM swirl tank. From there, a race duty BOSCH external fuel pump sends the fuel to the engine.

The AAM team helped again when they discovered an exhaust “bottle neck” in the design of the Greddy waste gate placement. For up to around 14 psi, it wasn’t an issue, which is more than enough for most users. Once we dialed the pressure to 18 pounds, the gremlins appeared. The way Greddy has the exhaust recirculation path entering back into the stream at a 90 degree angle, caused a very strange boost response. The two exhaust flows were fighting each other. To eliminate this issue, we completely replaced the turbocharger outlets with full 3” down pipes and relocated the waste gates. The waste gates now have atmospheric outlets and command attention under full load. Imagine a jet flying by you at about the head level. Problem solved!

The TXS UTEC fuel management system is very unique. It’s a “plug and play” parallel computer that takes over all functions of fuel and ignition timing while allowing the factory computer to remain happy in control of all other functions. With newer technology and drive-by-wire throttle control of the VQ35, keeping the OE ecu in place in a necessity in road going cars. The 350z UTEC was just making its way into a few select cars across the country. We begged and begged and bribed the guys at TXS until one showed up at our door step. After a co-op session of working out the bugs with TXS tuner extraordinaire Jermain and gaining our UTEC prowess,

Car V2 is a Turbo XS certified UTEC tuner, which explains the daily drivability of the 350Z your reading about.
Tuned on the Car V2 Dynapack dynamometer, the boosted 350Z put down a healthy 500 WHP and 500 ft/lb TQ at 15 psi on 93 octane pump fuel. A twist of the BLITZ SBC-id dial and more UTEC keystroking produced a whopping 565 WHP and 576 ft/lb TQ at 18 psi still on pump gas. With VP Fuels C16 in the tank and the 18g’s at full song, this white 350z puts down an amazing 624 WHP and 674 ft/lbs TQ at 24 psi. This is over 700hp engine horse power. Understand, these power levels are realized on the stock crankshaft, cams, and no machining at all. To reiterate, the cylinder heads have not been touched. No plenum or throttle body modifications exist. The VQ starts on the first crank and runs lean and clean under normal driving duty. It's a rather well mannered vehcile, at least until you pass 50% throttle.

The only downfall right now is at a nopi show we had 08 stock z rims on for the drive up and the Volk racing wheels in the truck while we were getting our spot someone had broke into the truck and stole the volk rims.

So the tires on it right now can not handle the power it really need race slicks on the rear at all times unless I want to drift the back end will kick all the wat to 5th gear

THe car is for sale all my toys must go we have it on ebay for 36995 Carv2 spent 90000 on this car the pistons are a special proto type low compression high output you can google Car v2 350z and click on the link 700hp achieved and all of the specs are there OR go to ebay and type Twin Turbo 350z
This is a 2003 and it only has 20K miles It was a show car most of its life.

Someone stole the VOLK wheels at a nopi show the rims are from a 08
PLease it make me sick to think about about it the rims and tires were 5800

Man these seat are comfortable as hell! You have to see it in person the red while and carbon is hot I was going to get red flame graphic on the hood that is what started the red.

No we have been here for years The car was used by CARV2 they were taking it from car show to car show BECAUSE this thing with so much power is still tuned to be a daily driver on pump gas which your tuner/SHOP has to know their stuff to do this.

LET ME KNOW WHEN THE NEXT MEET IS IT WOULD BE FUN THIS CAR IS FOR SALE SO THAT WOULD BE GOOD TO GET IT SOME EXPOSURE I AM GETTING READY TO WORK ON A SKYLINE

Yea I was going to go with a full body kit and custom paint but I wanted to keep it a sleeper. I has the same kit as the 2006 fairlady 350.

With the stock hood on the car It was great everyone one would think that I just had a pipe on the car until I got on it and the 3inch 2in1 pipe and turbos start screaming

Any one whom has been a part of the LA underground racing circut know that a sleeper is the most lethal weapon you can have when racing for money you get alot of the external racers. They figure wow he does not even have aftermarket rims on the car (it cant be that upgraded) mean while my 7000 rims are home in the garage so they do not get a mark on them before the next car show. It has been alot of fun destroying pretty cars. But one thing that is a must is very very good tires that will grip in cold and hot weather

YES But CARV2 the way they set the new suspension it is not as bad as you would think for a light car also when I put the 3000 tirs back on to race it grips good but they are too expensive to drive around on just to show off

i disagree about magazines lying. But anyway, u could post anybodys graph. i could post a graph saying my car makes 700whp with pics on a d-series turbo kit with home depot intercooler pipes. I just said kinda high claims with those parts. if ur car does make that then cool and congrats. Just for shits and giggles bring it to Mainstream for a run on the dyno. If it puts down 699.999 whp ill pay for the dyno.

I thought this site would be cool to talk tech and mods and different ways to get more horse without giving up drivability ect.

I need to replace the rims and tires re wire the cpu and take out the control panel a friend is working on a touch screen computer for the engine man system other than that the car needs nothing maybe change the body in a couple year.
But I do have it for sale so I can work on my skyline..... so i am holding off the new owner would have to buy rims and tires and would not really have to touch the engine

nice build for 2004. and im glad its still runinng but that car needs some tender loving care and upgrades now. those number seem really high for what you have.




But 18psi twin 18gs and 750 RCs does NOT equal 600whp maybe 550....... and why the FUCK would you have a utec anything above 550whp... that is just plan scarey to say the least... in 2004 there was F-con V-Pro a minium for 550whp Zs and Gs... dont mean to bash but seriously its 2008 almost 2009... ungrade that EMS to haltech or F-con at least. and those injectors are probably maxed out... you have the fuel pump system(AAM:gay:) but not need for anything below 1000cc.


get some 275-305 toyo R888s and that power will hook believe me. it will hook about 75-90% in first and all in second...

nice build for 2004. and im glad its still runinng but that car needs some tender loving care and upgrades now. those number seem really high for what you have.




But 18psi twin 18gs and 750 RCs does NOT equal 600whp maybe 550....... and why the FUCK would you have a utec anything above 550whp... that is just plan scarey to say the least... in 2004 there was F-con V-Pro a minium for 550whp Zs and Gs... dont mean to bash but seriously its 2008 almost 2009... ungrade that EMS to haltech or F-con at least. and those injectors are probably maxed out... you have the fuel pump system(AAM:gay:) but not need for anything below 1000cc.


get some 275-305 toyo R888s and that power will hook believe me. it will hook about 75-90% in first and all in second...

I have it set at 18psi and pump 93 which explains the daily drivability of the 350Z I put down 507 WHP and 500 ft/lb TQ at 15 psi on 93 octane pump fuel. RE dialing the BLITZ SBC-id dial and resetting the (AS YOU SAY PEICE OF SHIT UTEC) produced 565 WHP and 576 ft/lb TQ at 18 psi still on pump gas.
With VP Fuels C16 in the tank and the 18g’s at full, this white 350z puts down 624 WHP and 674 ft/lbs TQ at 24 psi.


The turbos were modified by carv2 we discovered an exhaust “bottle neck” in the design of the Greddy waste gate placement.
For up to around 14 psi, it wasn’t an issue, which is more than enough for most users. Once we dialed the pressure to 18 pounds, the problems appeared. The way Greddy has the exhaust recirculation path entering back into the stream at a 90 degree angle, caused a very strange boost response.
The two exhaust flows were fighting each other. To eliminate this issue, we completely replaced the turbocharger outlets with full 3” down pipes and relocated the waste gates. The waste gates now have atmospheric outlets and command attention under full load.


YES YES I know....i cant do a perfect build everytime.... but this car is for sale and the price is low enough for whom ever buys its to do some small mods.

Utec is like considered my first EMS to the VQ boards. the interface is .... to say the least is archaic. transition from vacuum to boost can be... problematic, and rough. and as you know misfire codes, and maybe hot start ups. the 16x16 resolution is well... 16x16 a little weak for 500+hp F-Con V-Pro and Haltech is 32x32 which you can lower to 16x16 or 8x8 if need be...which for boost more is better. i highly suggest you dont take those turbos over 20psi they fizzle out anything close to that. your just cooking the air and not really gaining anything other than high intake temps.

The wastegates have been known for about 1 bar before you need open dumps or relocation of the wastegates to further down the exhaust. thats a old old problem, its like common knowledge now. if you havent had a quality tune in the last 6 months or ever really... id just run on wastegate for now. or maybe 12psi depending on your springs.

I took it to Z1 last month and they said that I would be wasting money because my air fuel is dead on and after testing it with 110 they said it is running strong. this is a 2003 but keep in mind it only has 20k miles on it it has been treated like a baby. But I do need to dial in the SBC id that I am still learning.

You just have to learn to roll with the punches and be able to back up your claims with facts that make sense. Not everyone is as tactful as you would like them to be, but I think a lot of the technical questions are inevitable – especially when you post a car with X amount of power, $90k in it and a Utec :) This IS a car forum with a lot of knowledgeable people on it and when something doesn't add up, we all want to know how you did it. It's a discussion board....thus meant for discussion....which is a back and forth exchange. There are a lot of ppl on here with 350's and maybe they want to know how you did it so they can do it to their car :???:

P.S. Our shop has been in countless magazines (Batlground) and we know countless magazine peeps. They don't lie per say, they just take you at your word. It's not like they come out and do an engine pull apart to inspect to see if you are not embellishing. I have had a lot of friends on the cover of magazines.....and it's not always the whole truth and nothing but the truth. That's fact.

No I am feeling you. That is exactly what I posted for I had a great disscusiion with dirty mech and he recommended a good shop to dyno that what I am on here for but I am hearing you.. Keep in mind I am not a young kid trying to show off I am just pleased with my new car thats it give me some info on your shop there are some things that need done before I sell it.

I'm glad you understand. I know more than anyone how hard it is to deal with keyboard cowboys. You don't know me, but I am a chick who has been on TV and in magazines and has had a lot of fast cars that sometimes don't make sense to everyone. Every one of my cars have pioneered power and trust me, everyone wanted to try to call me out on it. Sometimes it's just innovation and there is nothing wrong with that. Just keep your cool and don't let the shit get to you. I'm not always one to talk, but in my old age, I have learned it's not really getting my blood pressure up over it. It's totally cool to be excited about your new car. I feel that. Just be prepared for the haters and don't give anyone the pleasure of getting to you. Cap Locks only fuel the fire. LOL!

Well you cant just throw on a huge ass intercooler on lets say 16g turbo or w.e. If you want ur car to run properly you gotta go by the size of the intercooler that you need.

Stock engine never blew she took it to a shop and had them build an engine. You need to get the story right before posting. Wow. I received an email from a good freind regarding the where-abouts of our former shop car. Even though it has some less than attractive cosmetic parts on it currently, it still brings back fond memories. I miss that car.

The car was cutting edge for it's time (2004) and would most likely still give most a run for their money. I have to make it clear, back when we were developing the Z33 platform for forced induction, little to no parts were available. We were one of few in the country to spearhead a boosted 350z.

Our 350z was almost entirely a vehicle for demonstration/prototyping purposes. It was not race car. It was designed to be used on the streets (although the high power levels are not for most). 75% of our customers want us to build "street cars".

On one of the many venues where we displayed the 350z, we were approached by cheif editor Robert Choo from Turbo Magazine. He knew about the car for a while and wanted to do a feature asap. Since we already knew Andy Bui (photographer) from other feature cars we've built, it went to print soon after. We sold the car to a young gentleman from Dubai who was enrolled in DC area school. It had ~2000 miles at the time, not 20,000. I don't know where it went from there.

Since then, many advancements have been made for forced induction on the VQ platform. Some of the posters here are correct in their inquiry on the use of certain parts. Keep in mind, the parts we selected were done so mostly on the fact of availability. We played a vital role in the developement of said parts. Of course they are not the best compared to currently available components, but they allowed us to make a break through and achieve our goal at the time.

As far as certain members here not believing the dyno plots, that is simply absurd. I have unaccountable hours into developing the matrix of numbers that direct the UTEC for engine control. CARV2 played a vital role in refining the UTEC for FI'd 350Z's. Consider this, Jermaine (Black Tuner) from TurboXS and CARV2 worked into the early morning hours tuning some of the first ever 350Z turbo maps. The dyno graphs are legit. The numbers are real. It is what it is.

Since the time of the CARV2 350Z, VQ forced induction has reached incredible levels. I feel fortunate to have played a small part in this. The new owner of the car will have many smiles :D.

YES But CARV2 the way they set the new suspension it is not as bad as you would think for a light car also when I put the 3000 tirs back on to race it grips good but they are too expensive to drive around on just to show off
