IMO, releasing a movie that has the potential to enlighten people on the topic of 2012, and they already fucked it up by jumping conclusions. 2012 is supposed to usher in a new age, not be the end of the world.
What that new age will bring to us, be it unimaginable technology, a leap in collective consciousness, spiritual awareness, alien visitation, or a cataclysmic catastrophy, is a whole different story.
I'm not arrogant or dumb enough to think I know what will happen (if anything), but as someone with good intuition, I don't think the world will end at all.
It's gonna suck. But I'll be watching it.

Actually. That movie could be very close to what happens. In 2012, yes the Mayan calender ends. The I Ching also predicts a stopping point AND the planet is due to reverse poles. South will become North. It very well could cause tidal shifts, melting of the polar caps and the very thing you saw in that film....minus it all happening at once.
Scientists are also predicting that during the shift, gravity will screw up making it so that people either float...or it gets twice as tough. So bulk up them leg muscles.

I don't see how anyone RIGHT NOW can make a movie about what MIGHT happen four years from now. Sure there are prophecies out there that can give us a clue as to what MIGHT happen. But until that day comes we will not know for sure.
The guy directing it is the same guy who made The day After Tomorrow and 10,000 BC.
This movie will suck fat dicks.

Some chink bangin' on a huge bell in the middle of nowhere - retarded.
But I heard from a trusted source that by February 2012, most 2012 calenders will be on sale for half price.
You heard it here first.

O god, every so often people find something to freak out over for no damn reason." The worlds coming to an end! Robots are gonna take over the world!" its kinda sad ,do yall remember back in 2000 everyone was freaking out over technology failing because their internal clocks would read 00. Nothing happen then and Ill bet nothing like that happens in 2012.

God isnt real, the world is not coming to a end on a certain date predicted by man, and black people really do love chicken:). The world will eventually die and thats with everything in life, but I don't see that happening any time soon (like thousands of years). As humans we have only been on earth for a short time, but yet we think the world will end every 10 years

If the earth doesn't die first it will be blown to pieces by the sun. Scientific fact.
