I don't want the election thread to go away, so here me voicing my opinion that IA should just call it the Politics section and leave it up permanently. There are enough people brimming with enthusiasm to warrant it, it seems like, and it could draw in a potentially more thoughtful audience than just your typical whoreslounge browser.


And maybe grant me admin powers.

I agree with the OP. It would make for a very good educational sectional, as well as a place to keep up on current issues.

Also, Obama does not equal the new Hitler.........

I first made this suggestion a few weeks back. I think what Paul said is this will prolly stay until Inaguration and then will be merged with Wall Street section.

I honestly think that there should a completely seperate political section simply because this section brings more traffic, opinions, etc. because of its great central location under the WL.

We already have a WallStreet section for politics and such. We don't really need another section. Just merge them together and call it a day.

There have been several but lets face it, it's politics not "So what did you think of Top Gear last night?". It's not going to always be civil. I think the more important thing over civility in any political debate is intelligence. So long as there is an intelligent debate, who cares about the mud slinging.
